BATTLE! Team Mystic VS Team Gusketeers (block3)

[Mystic]

While fighting Meru, Miruna is just wandering: What the hell has happened? How come I forgot about my chocolate and started to fight this girl?Well...anyway...back to business!!!

She is about to launch an attack on meru when she suddently she stops, for the second time in this fight!she stares at Geo:
What's wrong with him now? He thinks this is a joke?

Vlad: You think so too!

Miruna: Hey! Where did you come from? what are you doing here? Can you read my mind? *kinda freaked out*

Vlad:You have spirit control over me! Remember? we can communicate!

Miruna: Oh..yeah! ....*weird silence*

Vlad:....Shouldn't you go and talk to him?

Miruna: Oh,right! Let's go!

Vlad:...Foolish girl!

Miruna: I heard that! Your in MY MIND!

Vlad: Calm down and go do your thing!

Stoping the arguing with Vlad, Miruna heads for the place where Geo was sitting and eating his pear.

Miruna: Excuse me.....

Geo turnes to her.

" Are you ok?" she sais with a little smile on her face.

Geo: ...Yes!

Miruna: THEN WTF ARE YOU DOING? WHY AREN'T YOU FIGHTING?
She was as red as someone can be.Geo just stood there in astonishment, looking at his team-mate.(OOC:That means me! ;D)

[Vasuki]

"Fine, if you want me to do soemthing I will" Geo said as he stood up.

"Miruna....you and Cory lay low for a while....I'm gonna try try something new....based on the last time....heh, anything could happen....

"Geo, prepare for the end!, This is fun, but, I am afraid I came here to become Shaman King, and that is what I plan to do weirdo!"

Geo smiled and stared at Gus's face.. "I don't think you have the power to face me, that coat thing was pathetic.....you'll never become Shaman King if your soul doesn't drive you....and besides....you ARE sorta boring...I mean, I have attacked small babies which were stronger than you!"

Gus looked sorta scared and weirded out.... "Babies....you attack, BABIES?!?!"

Geo looked a little confused and crossed his arms behind his back... "Yah...I'm not gonna fight a adult dragon, are you nuts?"

After his thred, Gus screamed, "Messed up dude! Spirit of the Animator, Giant oversoul! Go! Train!!!!!"

Just then, a train appeared in the stadium, Gus jumped on top of it and pointed at Geo from above...



"Ill run you over, there is nothing you can do....."

Geo thought to himself.. "Hmmm....this is too big for me to handle with a simple copied technique, if only I had......"

Geo stared up into the stands....

"YOU! you finnaly decided to show up eh?"

Lovely looked down in shock at the dude with goggles pointing at her with a surprised expression.... "Do I...know him?" she thought...

"Lovely..." He then thinks to himself.... "If it wasnt for her...I wouldnt have to do this, I'll have to risk this......I need the power to fight that thing........"

"Lovely! if this goes wrong, this is your fault, got it?!?!"

"Kup!, Vasuki, Double Unity!!!"

Suddenly, a bizarre octopus looking aura appeared behind Geo as it entered his body along with Vasuki. Geo's eyes glowed white, and his stance seemed more forced, like an animal...

The train headed toward Geo's position with a roar, the other shamans involved in the fight stood in awe of the incredable difference in apparent power.....

As usual, Geo stood there, without any sign of defense.....

"I still don't get why you insist on being attacked all the time, meh, your problem punk"

Geo thought..."Heh, "punk" how ironic.... wait....crap....mabey I should have thought this through....I have Syn's skull oversoul arrow thingy, I doubt that is gonna defete a train...unless.....I create man-kinds most ultimate weapon...lets give this a shot.....she used a forest spirit, so mabey...a swamp spirit will work just as good...."

Geo reached into his vest, and pulled out a skull of some kind...

Syn looked on in slight horror.....

"A skull....wait....what did he say during our fight...."third eye? could it be some sort of....of course....that megaphone thing...was a failed attempt at copying Gus's mind fire technique......."

"Third eye release! Kappa spirit, into the Pachycephalosaurus skull! lets form a giant Balista!!!!!!!"

Geo takes a breath as the train grows ever closer.....

"Lets go Kappa, giant balista....giant balista....giant....dinosaur!!!! Yah, sure, why not?!"

Just then a large dinosaur-like creature appears, beneath Geo's hands.

"Forced techniques, dang, .....I cannot last long.....Vasuki....how are you holding up...."

"Holding off this creepy spirit isnt fun Geo, but I think I'll be fine, he won't take control..."

"Right, lets do this kappa..... Go!, Attack the train! Stop him!!!!!"

Gus looked in shock.... "A...dinosaur?...., he thinks he can stop me with a kappa fused with a dinosaur? pathetic, lets go!"

The two large oversouls crashed into each other as they both stopped completely....



"No way...." Gus panted....

Geo looked down as he noticed a crack in his medium....

"Hmmm, looks like this has lasted long enough, ok Vasuki, we are going back to normal now, your assistance was great, don't worry, one day we will stop this...."

Just then Geo's dinosaur dissapeared, as Geo fell right in the way of the train, which was still poised to crush him....

"HAHAHAHA! Loser, your done!" Gus cried as the train began to slowly move again...

Geo calmly put his skull back into his vest, and rapidly, flawlessly, oversouled Vasuki into a lure at the tip of his rod

Geo's eyes returned to normal, as the pain he seemed to be fighting for the last few minutes vasished......

Alicia looked down from the stands....

"What....was wrong with him, he didn't do all that stuff in our battle before....."

Suzaku wispered to Alicia...

"Ali....he...has high furyoku, that is true, ... in fact, he still had most of it until a few minutes ago, but, when his eyes glowed...hmmm......Alicia...he only has about one tenth left, he couldnt fight seriously now if he tried...."

Geo looked up at the on coming train..... and sighed....

"Finese cast...Vasuki, go!"

With that, Geo placed the rod to his side, and he flicked it toward Gus's train...

"That tiny lure can't do anything to me, HAHAHAHA, your are a TOTAL loser!"

Geo stared right at the train as his lure traveled up and up...into...the control room...

"VASUKI! press the off switch!"

Vasuki flew into the train...he looked around, but, there wasn't any off switch....

"Master Geo...you honesly thought things would be this easy? grrrr..., Perhaps if I just randomly blast through the mechanics of this thing, luck will be with me..."

Vasuki proceeded to randomly weave in and out of the train, attempting to destroy it's internal structure...

Gus looked down in horror...."what...the.....Geo, get that worm outta my train!"

The train instantly stopped....Gus appeared standing in front of Geo in shock.....

"I...don't understand.....that shouldnt have...there is no.....you couldnt have......disengaged the oversoul either...how did you?...."

Geo looked at Gus directly in the eye and said....

"I don't know, ask the creepy snake guy here" Geo said with a smile as the Vasuki lure floated next to his head smiling

Gus oversouled his coat again,

"Heheh, I don't get what happened, but, I still have the advantage, my furyoku is at least half yours!"

Geo looked a little worried.....

"Yah...I guess I did sorta waste it....damn, I don't even have enough to oversoul my boots right now......this...is....the end...."

Just then Miruna stepped in in front of Geo

"You have to stop doing things like this Geo...you know, I really think that we would...hey!....GEO!"

Geo had ran off behind her and sat down and started eating a pear again..... he looked toward her and said, "Good luck with Gus, I'm gonna relax for a while......*yawn*

Annelise gasped, looking at the train and the dinosaur that suddenly appeared in the stadium. "Wow...those are giant oversouls, right? Cool!" Annelise stared in awe. I wonder what they'd do to Tyto? I wonder if I'd be able to use his giant oversoul...if it even has more power... Tyto looked down at her from his perch on her shoulder and blinked. He then took a step back when Johanna screamed, "GO GUSKETEEEEEEERS!!!" again.

[Jr.]

Jr. had been very quiet during this match. He had changed since his battle with Akio. He had become a lot more focused on the tournament. (OOC: I love referring to a story I haven't finished yet!! XD ) He stood perched above the stadium seating along the outer wall of the arena. He watched intently at the battle.

Joe appears behind Jr., "Well?"

Jr. just stared at the match, "Hmm... Well, I thought at first that both Geo and Gus were kind of oddballs. Geo, well, I remember meeting him before and when attempting to help rehydrate me in the desert he decided to give me a salt water shower!! And Gus......lives in an alley when free rooms are available for participants. I'm not sure which team has the stranger leader. They keep breaking into song too...I'm glad we aren't facing them first! Getting a glance at Xeno-Ikkou when they fought the Future Girls was a big help, not to mention that fighting along side their most powerful member helps as well. This match will be close, but I think that Geo has more tricks in his....pants. And he beats babies! He's very ruthless!!"

Joe just stared at Jr. before replying, "I was just wondering why you are standing when there is an empty seat just two rows down from where we are!!"

The wind blew and nearly knocked Jr. from his perch.

He looked at Joe, "It was a good idea when I thought of it!!"

Joe simply sighed, "No! It wasn't! And I remember specifically telling you it wasn't!! TWICE!"

[Konekone]

Little Zinc, some notable bandages gone, but his arm still in a sling and leg still in plaster, appeared by Jr. and put his crutch down by him. "Yeah... I don't know who I want to win, either. Both were weawwy, weawwy mean to me. Gus is just mean in genewal, but that Geo man twied to steal Fuuzaku fwom me."

[Jr.]

Jr. looked beside him and noticed the catboy Zinc also on his perch!

"AAAHH!" Jr. shouts out of surprise and nearly falls off the wall again.

"It was a BAD idea!" Joe continues to protest.

Jr. gets to his feet, "Hey! Being aloof has it's benefits and look.." he gestures to Zinc, "I'm a trendsetter! Pretty soon everyone will be standing up here instead of in the regular seats!!"

Joe just shakes his head as Jr. kneels down to Zinc, "I wouldn't worry about Geo Zinc! Something tells me the two of us are going to run into each other soon! I have some things to "discuss" with him myself! I'll address this attempted theft then!"

He smiles at the catboy and then continues to watch the match.

"OH NO!" Jr. shouts of out nowhere nearly making Zinc leap out of his perch. Jr. looks a Joe frantically, " If everyone sits up here, then there will be no room left for me and I won't be able to be aloof anymore!"

Joe just stares at Jr. in disbelief, "Yeah! That's gotta be the biggest problem you've faced yet! Better make that top priority!!"

Joe puts his face in his hands as the sarcasm totally escapes Jr.

[Mystic]

Miruna stops what she's doing(..well she was doing something but I don't quite know what!) and turns to Geo:"You....beat....babies?"

(OOC: Sorry for the short post but 3 a.m is an hour at which my brain stops working!!)

[Vasuki]

"What, no, I mean, yes, I mean, baby Dragons...and I don't BEAT them...I fight them..." Geo responded

"Well, why would you fight them?"

"Uhm... well you see, sometimes Wyrmtrex gets a little jealous, he is all like, "Bah, those messed up freaks of nature with six legs can't take the might that is a normal vertabrate" and then I am like... "Yah, you wanta prove it?" and then we go and fight some baby dragons to raise our moods..."

"Uhm....whatever Geo....you done "healing yet" Miruna asks...

Geo noticed she si blocking and fighting off Gus's furious attacks, and looks like her power is decreasing...

"Nope, not yet...anyways, I was talking about my spirits was I, that reminds me of how I came across the kappa...."

*Geo rambles as the others continue to fight.*

With Meru fighting Cory, and Gus fighting Miruna; Syn finds herself, sort of standing on the sidelines. She glares over at Geo, who is sitting quietly at the other end of the stadium. He has just bitten into his third pear.

He's merely playing with us, Syn recalls their fight from earlier. Being unable to get even a clue as to what he plans on doing next. It's like... that time...

The girl looks down towards her medium, and stares meekly into it's pale light; Elk felt almost as disturbed as she was.

((I find myself apologizing for most of my posts on this thread, but I'm sorry my reply is both late, and short. ;_;

I might add more on to this later, if things don't get too hectic... >> ))

(OOC: This is getting very confusing! Every post changes the way we "fight" each other and I'm starting to lose count of whom I'm fighting)

[Gus]

((youse guys can't hear what's in red.))

Gus: Huh, they're all tiring. Time to-"

finish them off.

"Guh! No! I just have to beat them, they don't have to-"

use me. you need me.

"No!"

Miruna looks at Gus funny. "Uh... who are you talking to?"

you're weak without me.

"No! I'm... I'm strong!"

you let that dinosaur crush your oversoul. without me, you're nothing.

"NO! It was a fluke, is all! A mistake! We're strong! I'll show you! Kazad, giant oversoul mode! Form the Train!"

Gus leaps onto the train. The air around it is dark, it has the dull shine of old iron. Emblazoned on the front, in crimson letters, reads the number "667"

Gus yells really loud; "I am strong! Fear me! SEIG BLITZ!!!!"

Black clouds fill the sky. Electric blue bolts of lightning fly into Gus' hand. (some also hit those higher up in the stands than they need to be. Heh, Aloof my ass.) His eyes flash, and he smiles demonically.

"HAH!"

Miruna barely manages to dodge the first assault. She rolls out of the way quickly, the deadly bolts flashing past just inches away. She gets to her feet, but stays in a defensive position.

Gus looks over to Geo. "FIGHT ME LIKE A MAN! YOUR LUCK WON'T SAVE YOU THIS TIME!" A bolt of lightning blackens the pear in his hands. He looks up, startled.

"You're on that train again?"

"WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN, PUNK?!?!?" (('punk' seems to be my new catchphrase, eh?))

Syn looks at Gus pleadingly. "Gus, he's dangerous. Don't-"

"DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO DO! HOWEVER DANGEROUS HE IS, I MUST BEAT HIM! NO ONE CAN STAND IN MY WAY! I WILL BE SHAMAN KING!"

Geo stands up slowly. "Well, if you want to fight, I guess I have to avebge my poor little pear..."

Miruna: "Hey, what about me? YOU THINK YOU'RE TOO GOOD FOR ME, DO YOU, GUS?"

Gus ignores her.

She throws a chocolate bar at him. "LISTEN TO ME! DON'T YOU EVER TURN YOUR BACK ON MIRUNA!"

Meru: "Miruna... hey, her name sounds like mine! (to Miruna) YOU CAN'T STEAL MY NAME! I'LL FIGHT YOU FOR IT!!!"

Gus: "Huh... pretty excited for an X-Law... where was I... oh! GEO! PUT THAT PEAR DOWN AND FIGHT ME!"

Geo: "But I just started it... hey wait, our names are similar too! And you wear... A TRENCHCOAT! YOU MUST GO DOWN!!!!!!!!"

(OOC: Finally...)

'Kallisto, Kiss of death!' (OOC: talk about lack of inspiration)

A bright red light coming out of her sward sent Meru flying on her back several feet from where they were fighting.

'Well' Cory sighed 'that sould take care of her for a while...'

She looked around only to see Miruna fighting the Gus boy, and Geo '...eating a pear?!'

Cory gave a little scream.

'What the hell is that insolent je-... Urgh!'

Kallisto: 'Calm down mistress. Remember, what doesn't make you stronger only kills you. Or was it the other way around?'

Cory: 'MUST KILL!'

Kallisto: 'Just close your eyes and breathe...'

Cory closes her eyes and takes a breath.

Cory: 'Ok, I'm fine now...'

She crosses the stadium to her team mates. She looks down at Geo.

'Are you enjoying your pear?' Cory asks in a sweetish voice with a wide grin on her face and enphasising the word 'pear'.

Geo: '...yes...'

Cory: 'Good. You know Geo, first I thought you were a freak...'

Geo: '... but now you worship me and believe I'm the future Shaman King?'

Cory: '...um... no!... Actually, now I'm sure you're a freak...'

Geo: '...oh...'

Cory: 'NOW GET YOUR ASS OF THE GROUND AND START FIGHTING!'
Taking her sweet voice again: 'Ok?'
Then She turns and leaves. (OOC: So that what Gus wrote can happen)

((OOC: EDIT: Curse your ability to write faster than me ! What I wrote happens before what Gus wrote))

[Vasuki]

"Hey Vasuki, you think you could press that off switch again....?" Geo asked as he looked worried....

"Master Geo, there WAS no off swtich, it is a steam engine, I just randomly flew through it destroying it's foundation the last time, it seems he re-incoforced it this time to prevent me from doing just that...."

"What about the dinosaur thing, think that'll work?"

"Master Geo, look for once, he put spikes on the cow catcher to prevent that attack aswell...."

"Well, why don't I just fly away?, trains can't hurt me in the air right?"

"Normally they couldnt, but have a look...."

Geo looked up to see the train producing a stabilized cloud of smoke right above the train...

"Hmm, more Shaman abilities that defy the laws of physics huh....damn..."

"Master Geo, me and Kup could always..."

"No Vasuki....I can't risk Kup again today...."

"Very well, but do you have any better ideas?"

"Uhm, no, but I can think up one...."

"Think fast Master Geo...the train is coming, and, it doesnt look like it is in the mood for stopping....and I sense Gus still has enough furyoku for one more train of this size even if you destory this one....you need to stop the vehicle, and then attack afterwords, preventing another strong attack...master Geo, WAKE UP!!!!!!"

"Oh, sorry, I was thinking..., lets see...Ikana! Into the rod!"

Geo then jabbed the squid-rod into the ground, and shouted...

"Umi-not jutsu!!!"



Gus looked from atop his train....."Ha, what do you think you are doing wasting your furyoku like that, you have to fight to win Geo, if you don't learn that, you will never go anywhere!!!!!!"

Geo looked up and smiled at Gus before jumping back several metres...

"You can't escape a train Geo!!!!" Gus cried

"Yes, destory him now!"

"But, Syn said...I am sure it can't be this easy..."

"Forget her, destory him, we are so close!"

"FINE! This is the end Geo!!!!!!!" Gus yelled...

Geo sat down and faced away from Gus as he watched the others fight....



"Why....No! You must fight me! You will not stand in my way, you will treat me with the respect I deserve! Lets go!!!!!!.....Go!!!!!....Go!!!?....go?"

Geo stood up and turned around at Gus,

"Having problems Gus?"

Gus looked down to and saw that Geo had pumped spiritual water beneath his train, causing it to sink into the ground....

"Gah!, you stopped my train! Impossible! No matter, the creativity of my guardian ghost has informed me all is not lost! Smoke Stack! Form into cannon mode!!!!"

Gus pumped furyoku into his train as the smoke stack re-formed into a cannon pointing directly at Geo



"This blast will kill you on impact punk! FIRE!!!!"

Geo crossed his arm as he jabbed his still-oversouled rod into the ground, as he glowed with Furyoku...

"If you do that....you will destroy the stadium, we can't have that..."

Geo fired water through the ground and up into Gus's train, causing it to rust rapidly, the rust crawled up the body of the train and reached the cannon just as it was about to fire....

Gus stood atop his crumbling spiritual sculpture removed his glasses and gave a completely evil and soul-less look at Geo... "I will not let you stand in my was fool, I will destroy....."



Just then his train sorta collapsed from all the rust......

"Damn.....you will pay Geo!.....oh hell...."

Gus noticed he was sinking in the quicksand Geo had created.....

Geo stood on dry land watching Gus oversoul his coat and trying to fly out of the sand with great enjoyment completely oblivious to the bloodthirsty look in Gus's eyes....



"See Vasuki, I told you I would think of something...."

[Mystic]

Miruna was getting tired and bored and when she's getting tired and bored it means she's getting annoyed. And it's not good for her to get annoyed.
Throwing her chocolate to Gus doesn't seam like a good idea anymore.

Miruna: Why did I do that? Am I that stupid? Well then I should do something to stop this fight! it's getting to confusing! that boy doesn't listen to me and this girl is fighting to me because she wants my name?!?

Vlad pops into her head: ...Your not thinking...to....use that...are you?

Miruna: But of course! That's one of mine greatest attacks!

Miruna:"Black Death".....black clouds form above the stadion(blaker than Gus's). Thunder could be heared and a lighting appeared. A wind starts to blow, black wings appear on Miruna's back and she goes up in the air. Everybody in the stadion starts to freak out. "what is she doing?" could be heard from all around her but she doesn't care.

Vlad pops once again in her head.
Vlad: I'll serve you till the end but...ummm......won't this kill everyone present here?

Miruna: Yeah! So?

Vlad: Won't it kill both Cory and Geo?

Miruna: What's your point allready?

Vlad: How about not being able to fight in later rounds if you don't have a team? And if you start your attack now you won't have a team anymore!

Miruna: Oh! I didn't think about that but not that you've mentioned it...I'd better stop it, huh?

A little dissapointed, Miruna gets down and her wings disappear. She heads for Geo and when he reaches him she asks: "Do you have any more pears? I need my energy!"

When not getting a response she adds:....Hello?....Anybody there?

Realizing someone's talking to him Geo looks at Miruna: "..What?"

Miruna:I asked you if you had a pear and would be so kind to give it to me if so!

Cory runs to the two of them and asks:"What was that?"

Miruna: Well, a little attack that if it was done would have killed anyone around here!...turning to Geo...."Thanks for the pear!"..then takes the pear from his hand and starts eating it!..."you two can get back to your fights! Your opponents are waiting......"

Meru and Syn take the oppurtunity to cross the stadium and help their leader out of the quick sand.

"IDIOT!" Syn scolds, as her teammate tosses one end of her medium towards Gus. "I warned you about that kid, h-how could you be so selfless?!"

The boy grabs hold of the rainbow whip, and allows Meru to pull him to dry ground; his eyes never leave Geo.

Miruna and Cory have mimicked their own leader, and by now all of Team Mystic sit cross legged, a few feet from the Gusketeers; merrily, they pass fruit and chocolate amongst themselves.

"This is a joke..." Gus mutters, using his oversoul to push him the rest of the way out of the sand pit.

Meru withdraws her whip, and attempts to clean it off on her pantleg.

"We have to think of something..." says Syn, seethingly.

"Genius."

"Shut it, Gus."

"Listen," Meru intervenes, "We can't go on this way much longer. We need a fresh stradegy, and we need one now."

"What have we, in the form of bright ideas?" Syn asks, as she wracks her own brain for just the battle stradegy.

Geo takes notice of Gus's firey gaze, and waves at him from over the heads of his two teammates.

"That's it..." Gus hisses through clenched teeth; he makes a move towards the Mystics.

"No, Gus," Meru says, as she and Syn attempt to hold him back, "No more going solo, we're a team remember? It's about time we started acting like one..."
