i don't see why they don't leave japanese characters in the dub. heck, no kid is gonna notice a tiny sign.
as for the crosses, i can see that offending some people, but again, kids won't pay attention to it.

Did I imagine it or is Morphine...er... Chloe... a Pokemon now?! The original didn't make noises like that unless I was just really hallucinating this morning...Ooh, yeah, I totally agree. It really bothered me. A fairy should not sound like that. xD XD It's annoying when they dub little characters like that with freaky voices. >_> Lyserg: I'll save you, Chloe! (Or something like that ^^0) Morphine: Mreorw! ;_; Me: O.o And I liked the part when Horohoro was fawning over Morphine and Kororo flew away. xD That was so cute; poor Horohoro. ^^; |

Myself, I think the sadest thing about this epp (for me anyway) was Morphine, she gets no respect  She never talked let along wimper and crap. all bacause she's pink... but I did like one of Millie's lines Lyserg: if there's anyway I can repay you please tell me. Millie: A kiss on the cheek would be nice. ;D I think that's how it went. |

The enemies shown today, thier weapons, their names and their spirits are all intentionally goofy XD . (their names didn't get changed in the dub, yay! Not that they make any more appearances.. you know... being dead and all...) O.k! Lovely's epi 28 dub thoughtsAfter watching this episode I felt so sick that I had to go lie down for a few hours.... ....of course that had nothing to do with the episode, I'm just feeling sick in general ^_~ . Nah, the episode was great. Most of the episodes this season (so far) have been surprisingly accurate script wise. They even kept things I thought they were going to cut, such as the gun and the boxcutter. (yeah, I don't know WHY I thought they would cut out a boxcutter from a show that is BRIMMING with swords and other dangerous weapons ^^; .) Oh and it's interesting how they are keeping some of the original text in the episode. It seems 4kids is now trying to see how far they can get pushing the limits with this show. Concerning voices: Lyserg's voice = CUTE!!!! SUPER CUTE!!! MUST HUG!!!! *cough* sorry. O.k, it takes a bit of getting used to... but MAN, his new voice is cute. Concerning Lyserg's name: The pronounciation is weird, but I understand why they changed it a bit. Also, did anyone catch a slight gag about the pronounciation? Basically, all they did was switch the "y" and "i" sound between his first and last name. Morphine/Chloe: I hear a lot of complaints about having Morphine make noises more often. But... I think it's rather cute. For those complaining about the way it sounds in general. The few times Morphine made noises it actually DID sound like that (I think the only time she made a noise in the whole series was when she was laughing at Chibi-Lyserg.) The way the original episode and series MESSES WITH YOUR MIND:I realised through my second playthu of this show that the characters DID seem to age. Just slight changes in thier design make them look older as the series progresses. However, for the most part, the show doesn't really mention thier ages past the begining episodes. In the manga, their ages as they grow up is pointed out more. It should also be pointed out that I always realised that Yoh was aproxiamately a year or so older than Lyserg. Here's the point, after watching the original episode 28 . The VERY exact clues about Lyserg's age are given as they are said in the dub. So yes, in the anime at this point, that WOULD make Lyserg 14. AND YOH 15 !!!!! GAAAA!!! Where did the years go @_@ ??!!! *cough* No wories... I'm o.k. The other thing is Hao's apperance in the flashback. In the anime he looks as old as he does in the present. Which is (apparently 0_o ) 15 or so. Problem... Hao was only 7 or 8 when he killed Lyserg's parents @_@ . I should note that in the manga Hao looks his apropriate age in this scene. |

i dont think hao is human, therefore i dont think he "ages"... though i understand he was a baby once blah blah...
but he isnt human IMO...
