Man, lately 4Kids has been real lax with the edits, not that I'm complaining.

"Jethro San's"- that was great! Also, the people in the "authentic Japanese clothes" with the hick accent was hilarious! "Konnichiwa, how long y'all stayin?", or something like that. The really took the idea of America making fun of Japan and ran with it.

The Blood Scene: I couldn't believe it! This is the stuff 4Kids likes to cut right? It doesn't seem like something they would forget. Oh well, I'm glad they kept it!

On that note, does anyone know why Hao was bleeding? Zenki and Gouki did not look like they were hurt in any way, are the shikigami that much a part of Hao that he bleeds when they are defeated/captured? Resurie, you're the Hao expert, do you know why he bled?

Hmm, girly bubbles....I knew there was more to the Rio/Lyserg scene that meets the eye. Were those towels drawn on?

All in all, it was a good episode with a major 4Kids surprise. *Sigh* I just wish that Manta had more screentime. By the way, is it just me, or is the tone of Manta's voice changing?

i was thinking the SAME thing. were those towels drawn on? because it seemed unlikely that ryus hair would be JUST the right place to uh... "hide" lyserg if there were towels originally.

fav scenes: hao and blood. i started FREAKING when i saw that. twas awsome.
and the ren scene where they were loking for him but then he found them first. mmm... there was a detailed pic of his abs in there too... ^____________^

It isnt exactly explained why Hao bled, but the most likely reason would be because Anna was able to use his spell he uses to seal them and she broke the seal he had created. The spell is called "Gouma Choubuku" i think i spelled it right... sure she didnt 'hurt' Zenki and Gouki...but still...she was able to seal them with the 1080...^^;;

maybe this would help (somewhat) i dont know what Hao said in the dub...i wasnt listening to his dialouge...i was going crazy at the moment *cough* but in the original hes says:

"Don't worry. Someone just defeated my shikigamis.
I didn't know the Asakura family had someone with such power....A storm might come."

ok...the storm part wasnt necesary but yea...thats all i know....^^;;;

oh and I made a mistake, Zenki and Gouki DO talk in the original...aheh...sorry...^^ ....strange, i was looking in the site Oversoul for Jilda's name (cuz i forgot it ^^) and it says "Kouki" instead of "Gouki".....but everywhere else its Gouki..ah well...guess its not that important....

and..they havent said their names yet......what if the dub just refers them as shikigami all the time? mmm...T_T



EDIT- Len: i also noticed Ren looked "shiny" XD ive noticed it ever since i saw the episode...his head also looks larger as well XD

yes.. i like the shiny... but it was only that one screenshot. i also noticed that the point on lens hair periodically got bigger and smaller... is it just the animation or was it supposed to do that?

lol, yeah the towels were originally there. I thought it was kinda funny how they changed alot of the conversation in the bathtub. In the original the WHOLE conversation was about Hao and the x-laws, in the dub, only like the last 2 minutes were about that. By the way, I'm still in shock they didn't cut the blood scene. Oh, and thanks Lovely, now I won't be screwing up again. ^.^
