I think they will. People may find it offensive or even racist.
Americans don't seem to have a sense of humor like Japan.

Yeah, people in America take things way to seroiusly. There was a problem with the Pokémon Jynx. Some African Americans thought it was a sterotype of them (black face, big lips) so they complained about it. Now Jynx's face is purple.
They're probably going to reduce the size of his lips as well, but I can understand that.

To be fair, I think it's not actually that the Japanese have a better sense of humor (in this instance), just that they don't realise that it could be pottentially offensive.
Just my 2 cents.

You're probably right. In Japan I don't think they have a lot of non-Japanese people so I guess they don't run into this problem as often as Americans do.

I agree that there is a line that shouldn't be crossed, but I don't think something as harmless as ChocoLove is crossing that line.

This is slightly off topic, but it involves the name "ChocoLuv"
At around the valentines part of the year, we have a Blizzard at Dairy Queen called the "Choco Cherry Love" blizzard XD . I always loved that name, for obvious reasons ^_~ .

i need to try that treat sometime . also slightly off topic, the pokemon jynx has gotten a rep for looking like a hefty black woman. i read that somehwhere when pokemon first came out.

Well, if there's any truth to that, that's one disaster averted for me. I'm kind of a Chocolove fangirl. The jokes are probably still gonna be torn to shreds, but the name definately could have been worse. ;D

I heard he has the same voice actor as Ussop in One Piece. I hope to Godzilla that if that is true then he does a different voice.
