IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ANYONE WHO WATCHES MANKIN ON SUNDAYS
FOX is airing Nascar on Sunday at 12:30ET/9:30PT. This means that it'll be at 11:30CT and 10:30MT, so if you're watching Mankin on Sunday mornings on a Fox affiliate and you're NOT in Eastern Time, it probably won't be on (if it's on at 11:30 like it is here).

I have no words. At least, everything that I could possibly contribute on my opinion of the whole- "Horo's too young to be Shaman King" changed to "Horo is part of a prophecy in a song" would be completely and utterly useless. I have words, yes, words that I will use in abundance when I can rant and cuss with no one to hear my fangirl rage.

Team Sabasu changed to Team Doom
Chocolove telling Ren that he is picky when it comes to people/Jun bossing around Len and not letting him eat dessert.
Bit off the head of a bat! XD He DESTROYED a bat!
In the original, the guy actually says that he DIDN'T know he was going to fight Horo, I think.
Horo is *play dramatic music* FROM THE NORTH!
They kept saying it over and over, and over... Would it really kill them to say Hokkaido if they are going to make up a whole alternate storyline for this ep anyway?

It was cute when Ren told Horo that if Horo lost, he would personally kill that-um-one guy(can't remember his name).
4kids erases any of those subtle hintings and wants Len to want Trey's snowboard if he loses, creating an excuse like: "I always wanted to learn, but I was only allowed to ski."
Expression of loyalty changed to a heartless request for a snowboard to replace Horo.
Other:
Anna: "Fanbase of one" LOL
This episode was (originally) so much better than that filler, and really revealed the deeper side of Horo that is not often seen. He's not as stupid as Ren says he is.
He is, as always, cute, cool and strong! This episode just showcased his fabulous Horo-ness.
Next is a Manta/Faust one, right?

Yup, it's the next one. I havn't seen this episode in a while but the guy that Horo fights gets on my nerves, even more so in the dub, he just seems way too obbsesive with that song thing.

Ok, I haven't seen the original... but this one is just weird... Stupid guy: "oh i listened to a song backwards and it told me to listen to a hidden track on a very rare disk, so i got it, listened to it... and of course I obeyed it! well it's hidden... and rare... it MUST be true!" Stupid guy:*gasp* a blue hared shaman! Are you from the north? Trey: yes I am. Stupid guy: *gasp* He is the blue hared shaman from the north, that of course, has nothing to do with anything because basacly what I'm saying is the he's gona lose... so why make a song about someone who is gona lose? since there's only 1 shaman king well maybe it would be better to make one about the winner of the shaman tournament but of course 4kids is trying to confuse people... I've said too much... "from the north" ... geez... "oh yes I come from the country with no name... we refer to it only by it's geographical position..." IT MAKES NO SENSE!!! THIS WHOLE EPS IS KILLING ME!! Example: Team Doom says that they are gona fight, then they are surprised that they are gona fight... Horo Horo looks better in the manga without his headband but... he looks soo good in black and blue ... ^o^ (he matches with his hair  ) OMG! I laughed at one of Chocoloves jokes  the one where they say something like: someone: it's a bright idea Chocolove: so bright, that i need my shades  (or suglasses) Why did I laugh you ask? Stupidity? The fact that the Images match with the joke? I don't even know myself... but it was funny... (for some reason). Bason looks more and more like a Gundam... (off topic: omg... winks club... "help us with this fashion crisis!!!  4kids, 4 tousand dolars... *eye twitching* they're.. doing... it... again... I CAN'T STAND IT!!!! ARGG!!!) Final: Evil dub  ... Kawai Horo Horo ;D |

I've said too much... He seemed to be indicating HoroHoro losing was some kind of prelude to the rest of the song where the world then gets destroyed. I wonder if thats some kind of indication to future events? Perhaps HoroHoro plays a vital role in a later Ep and his death in this Ep would of stopped all that and led to the end of the world? Or more likely it was the best they could come up with to replace the original concept of the Ep. |

Good God, he annoyed me something fierce throughout the whole ep!
4Kids crapped all over the the message of the original. "No, you're not too young to be a shaman, I heard your name mentioned in a song that I decided to play backwards! The end of the world!"
There were lots of funny references in this ep though.
"I heard a rumor that he bit the head off of a bat." XD
J-Lo/Jello; that was hilarious! I wonder if they had to ask permission to use her name?
Heh, Horo was really deep in this episode. There was a lot of character development on his part. A lot more than in Ren's episode.
Anna's training was funny.
"Oops, I forgot to start the stopwatch." Poor Yoh....
Peacher-guy's dragon spirit kicked ass! What'd the other two have? A pig and what else?
Horo Horo + No headband = ADORABLE!
He looked so damn cool with all the darkness surrounding him.
I can understand the edit of Pirika's nakedness. Why was she naked in the first place? I see no reason why she would. A fanservice moment perhaps?
Nose -stabbing was kept! Yay Ren!
"Only 14 more miles to go!" Hang in there, Horo! Or better yet, take off your headband!
Okay, next ep......the one I have been waiting for! Faust and Manta, Faust and MANTA!! Manta's so cute when he's terrified. Of course he's cute always. I can't freaking wait! *goes into convulsions*

DEFEAT THE WEIRDOS, GUNDAM! (/Gundam SEED next ep preview referance)
-I thought that the "prophesy song" thing sounded fake!
-Fake British accent+Ren+saying "Bit the head off the bat"=A stupid yet amusing line
-The more I think about Horohoro's ream, the weirder it seems. I mean, I understand his motivation, but the way he'd accomplish his dream of people living in harmony in nature and saving the Koropokoro(or whatever they're called) is just plain weird. A giant field of lillypads/whatever those plants are?
-Mic's oversoul form=AWESOME. As is Bason's.

I know! when he was sigging lines of and I heard the words 'to face his appened doom!' Im just like "oh crap. THIS cant be good for horo" ._. And did anyone elce noticed that 'trey's voice was cracking in the begining after he was glomped by Pirika? XDD |

I didn't like this episode. Prolly cuz the entire plot was changed and that guy's voice made me twitch.
The J-Lo and bat thing was funny, though. And I kinda like Horo without his headband. Ooh and Chocolove's oversoul is sweet.
