as for keeping his headband, i think it's a part of the character. it would be like taking ren's pointy hair away.

I was Horo Horo here until Dessa and Lovely infected me with Xenosaga! (It's been an hour since I played.....must...resist! XD ) Seriously, while at work is was the only thing I thought of all day. I just got home... and... heck, I don't know what I'm doing here on the board. Must...play... Interestingly enough, I have seen NEITHER the dub nor rewatched the original of this episode of Shaman King yet ^^; . Xeno is making me a bad admin ^^;... A Faust episode will be nice, they need to give him more of a backstory. Not that he didn't have one, but he only had three episodes so he needs more camera time. This is totally off topic but... The next episode is actually one of my favorites. Heck, I'll say it's my second favorite (since my "first" favorite is the episodes where Faust is first introduced.) It's actually a combo Faust/Manta episode ^_~ . |

Were there a lot of rock'n'roll in-jokes in this episode, or am I just reading too much into it? I was thinking that "Team Doom's" spirits might represent famous rock bands when I saw Ronny's spirit, White Serpent (Whitesnake?)... but then I have no idea who the other spirits would represent. Any ideas, or is there no relation at all?

thoughts on eppy: -HoroHoro without headband= seksay!!!  -Chocolove's J-Lo joke= stupid -the whole "Prophecy CD Song" or whatever= ? by the way, Jr., those Horo pics are great! Neddo- I never noticed the rock-reference names, but now that you mention it... hmm. what were the names of the other spirits? I might be able to figure it out. |

;D ITS FINALLY FIXED!!! i have my compy again! ^^ Anyway, finally the episode i've been waiting for since December has finally come...and what happens to Inu but:
like 5 seconds into the eppy the screen goes black, my mom needs to pay Directtv. This ep was so important to me, i seriously screamed and cried a little. So my grandma pays the phone bill and i'm able to catch the last 10 minutes or so *sigh* ;_; I knew those dudes were priests from researching this eppy, but come one making them heavymetalrockers? Jesus christ 4kids 9_9
Horo was just so adorable in this ep! His new outfit kicks ass he needs to where it more often. And, *drum roll* the headband comes off! He is the sexiest thing ever without it! Right before they start the fight, is it me or does the song thingy the lead guy sings go to the tune of the teenage mutant ninja turtles theme? (god i hate that song, and show >< )
Oh, and i love Rachel lillis's voice but i dont like it on Pirika. I like her Japanese voice much better.
Thats all i have to say, its good to finally be back ^^ Horo-sama rules!

STILL haven't seen the dub yet, BUT I did look a few things up. Apparently, Team Sabbath (team Doom in the dub), IS a parody of Black Sabbath (just look at that picture ^^; .) And yes indeed, Ozzy was once a member of that group. Who knew? |
