wai! I'm lazy! So the thread title is the episode title!
Anyway, it's the 2nd half of last week's episode... Obviously, "Gate of Babylon" has been changed, and there'll probably be many other changes also, but as I haven't seen the episode since chaos died (and have no way of watching it), I can't comment. Oh well...

Ah...I love this episode...mostly because of the ending. >D
Fine then~ I shall contribute.
Spoilers: **Hao and company kill a few of the X-Laws in this episode, which I think might end up edited. >> For example, one of them gets shot and you can clearly see a hole in their body. It's not graphic or anything (damn), but still. >>
Also, at one point it seems that Hao kills Jeanne, but um, yeah he doesn't. >> At that point, they think she's dead because the cage she trapped everyone in disappears.
Eventually after the cage disappears, Yoh and others help the X-Laws and fight Hao and co. >> Yoh himself gets into a little fight with Hao.
You'll also see the Door of Babylon. With the help of the remaining X-Laws, Jeanne makes a tower that goes up to the sky where the door is. When she's finally up there, Shamash uses a key and opens the door. When the door opens everyone is sucked in.
Inside, it's this crazy drugged world. Oo
Yoh and Hao wake everyone up (not together of course >_>), and Hao whispers something to Yoh, which at the end is revealed as "The Shaman Fight ends now." or something.
And now, my favorite scene. >D We get a nice shot of the Spirit of Fire eating Shamash, crunching sounds and all. That will most likely be cut, if not, kudos to 4kids. =P
That's about it, I gave more or less a synopsis rather than spoilers and such. Oo Eh, I'm probably going to sleep in and miss the episode. -__-

Well, I'm going to guess that *** Sound will be added to the "Crazy Drugged World part... because it was silent and creepy in the original. ***

A bit off-topic, but.... I was online, and my friend was showing me this site that can translate your name into japanese, and would also tell you the meaning of your name. I was looking through the list, and upon hitting Z, a name caught my eyevision. Zeke. I looked at the meaning, and apparently, Zeke means God strengthens. Maybe 4Kids made a minor mistake in their name chossing...or...they knew? Thoughts? Comments? Ok, back on topic, I'm extreamly excited about this episode, from what I've heard of it! Sounds exciting..... Well, let's put our trust in 4Kids to dub it well!

Ah man... I actually WATCHED this episode last week along with episode 55. I even wrote notes! *laughs* I just totally forgot about making a thread ^^;. So uh yeah. Originally, this episode was actually pretty violent. But the majority of the violence was done in shadow, so who knows? Maybe the dub will keep it. They will DEFINETELY change a sound effect though . This episode also contains my FAVORITE visual moment of the entire series. It's just smooth and cool looking . SPOILERS AND THOUGHTS! Note style! (HUGE spoilers in this one, you have been warned.) *** -There is an odd HAPPY moment amongst the X-laws in the begining of the episode. It's nice. And it actually explains a bit about WHY the X-laws do what they do, and their conviction. Basically, they KNOW that a lot of the actions they do are wrong, but they are willing to take the blame for those actions if it will spare others from similar pain.
-When the X-laws and Hao's fight. We get some nice stylised shots of the groups.
-Brave Heart plays when Silva makes the decision to help out. I don't know, it was just kind of an odd moment for the song to play ^^:.
-When the X-laws are getting their collective buts kicked. I thought it was interesting how Faust and Chocolove both acted indifferent at first.
- ALL the X-laws freak out when Yoh and the others get out of the cage. "Hey! We're here to help!" "OHMIGOD! JEANNE IS DEAD!" "Wait... what?" (that dialoge isn't in the episode, it's me making fun ^_~ .) Did Yoh and the others break out on their own. Did Jeanne let them out? It's not exactly made certain. (Seems like Jeanne let them out though.)
- Mikihisa's flying kick against Silva is pretty funny...
- Ryu fights for Lyserg ^^;
- S.O.F has been in a grabin' mood lately. When it grabs Yoh it's a bit spooky.
- There are a few shots of the X-laws in the past just hangin' out. An attempt to humanise them .
- DEATH COUNT FOR THIS EPISODE: 4 . 3 Humans, 1 spirit.
Humans: Rocky Denbat (whole to the chest!) Pofu (and his angel gets beheaded.) Spirit: Shamash. It gets EATEN. You can see it's shadow twitching as S.O.F holds it and you can hear the munching and crunching sounds. This is probably the most violent moment in the series actually.
- My favorite Visual moment in the entire series: When everyone but shamash is pulled into the Gate, S.O.F's arm SHOOTS out of the gate and grabs Shamash and then pulls Shamash in. This is an awesome visual scene, I liked how it was pulled off.
*** Not many episodes left . Oh yeah, there is also a scene where Hao talks to Yoh, but there is no audio that can be heard. It's a wonderfully spooky little scene which will probably have audio added in the dub. Therby , killing the spooky. Ah well.

Hmm, does anyone think or know if they will explain why **Luchist/Luca (I think that's his dub name) has a "dark" X-Law angel in the fight, or if they will ignore it like in the original anime**? Also, what is the difference between the Gate and Door of Babylon?

I just finished watching this episode. To my surprise, they kept the bit at the end where the Spirt of Fire is eating Shamash. Not that there really was anything graphic in that scene, but 4kids did keep the ripping-flesh sound effects. It might just be me, but I think those sounds were a little bit louder in the original episode....maybe? Oh yeah, and I really don't like dub Mikihisa. ( > _ < )

aaah, that episode was... there are no words for it. they kept the crunching sounds! Which was reeeeaally disgusting. I guess as long as there's no blood, they can gross out the little kids. and it was a spirit, not a human. so the spirit was 'destroyed', because spirits can't die. XD ohohoh, if you listen to the crazy drug world, you can hear horohoro saying "Hey, my name is horohoro". so, he says his real name twice in the dub. also, you could hear ren going "Tell me uncle en... my father...". Which was confusing. Did they ever happen to mention what happened to len's dub father? o.o

Wow is right....even more awesome than last week......mankin is just...the best thing ever. Wow, just really, wow. I thought Jeanne was gonna be really severely burned and injured. =/ She looked pretty fine to me. They apparently put sound where you thought they would Lovely. XP When they got into Babylon, and were walking and stuff, all that stuff was happening...and teh voices ; You hear Ren say something like, "Uncle En, tell me about my father" something like that, ...>>; *stabs 4kids* They said Horohoro! >0 SEE!!?? HE'S NOT T***!!! >P When SoF was...eating Shamash at the end, were the original sound effects kept? Because i had heard it sounded really nasty, and that did sound really nasty. XP Eep, almost feel sorry for Shamash. O.O; And when SoF grabbed it just before it went ino the door, i was all, "D: Meep! ;" Overall, i loved it. X3 And, LYSERG WAS JUST SO ADORABLE!!! One more thing..they named Luchist Luca...correct me if i'm wrong...but that's a chic's name..-_-; Damn you 4kids damn you.

In the dub, they said that Ren's father got killed one day and that's why he hates humans or something, when in the original, En is his father.

In the dub, they said that Ren's father got killed one day and that's why he hates humans or something, when in the original, En is his father. 4Kids loves to kill off family members. Let's not forget about Manta's mom! Ugh, seriously, that's just retarded. -____-;;;

eeeeww, they used that as an excuse for len's thirst for vengeace? *cringe* oy. disgusting.
a slightly off-topic note: if you ever want some good amusement, get the first shaman king uncut DVD, and a shaman king starter deck. watch the un-cut dub of episode three, and I guarentee when you watch the dub episode 3, you will laugh your head of. or cry. or both. n.n
where was the silence supposed to be at? It looked like their mouths were moving to me... maybe I need to watch the episode again.
