Ooh I loved this episode! -SoF's arm grabbing Shamash was awesome -I didn't see what was so gross about SoF eating Shamash complete with crunching noises *shrug* -I liked the tone in which he said "I am Horohoro." -Drug-world was freaky, but cool. -Was a bit disappointed with the way the X-Laws died. I was expecting it to be a bit more graphic -It was cool when Yoh had his sword at SoF's throat. -Was it just me, or when Hao and Yoh were fighting, didn't Hao look like he was dancing? XD XD When was the scene where Hao and Yoh were talking but with no audio? (Obviously, I guess 4Kids added talking, but I still wanna know when it was)

(Obviously, I guess 4Kids added talking, but I still wanna know when it was) Well, he was just performing the actions he wanted the SoF to do, but yeah, it did look a little strange when he did it. The no audio scene, I believe that was in the drug-world, when Yoh and Hao confronted each other in there after preventing their team-mates from dissolving inside the gate.

to many pages to read *__*
i had to tape it and i just watched it. my fave part is problay like eveyone else's, the part where S.O.F grabbed Shamash! i loved the little delay before the grab. and i accually found the shamash snack part really neat.
i also noticed, and someone may have pointed this out, but at the first close up of luca, you can see some black spots on his chin. was that a coverup glitch? oh! In Suiko 4, there's a character named Basil (Ashil's dubbed name). You play a beyblade-type minigame against him...
oooo! i wanna find a pic of him! i'd laugh if they looked the same.

Please can you settle an argument? Was Morty in the cage with the others or not? I was absolutely certain he wasn't at the end of 55 because Mosuke rescued him, but it's quite a few weeks since it was shown over here.

If you read the rest of the thread, you would have your answer.
Anyways, it's a plot hole/mistake that was never fixed by the animators (which is odd because Japan actually DID change a few things between their t.v release and their dvd release. 4kids has the "fixed" DVD masters.)
Anyhoo. No, Manta was NOT in the cage in episode 55. He wasn't even that close to the the others when they got caught. However, Manta is shown briefly in the cage (in the one scene where the boys are about to try to break out) in episode 56, with no explanation as to how he suddenly got there.

Uh, Sorry Ginni, I wrote a bit too harshly there ^^;.
Anyhoo.... I haven't been watching the dub lately, but I decided to tape the dub of epi 56 'cause of everyone's glowing reviews (my area shows Mankin on Sunday by the by.)
Anyhoo... I just finished watching it tonight, and I must say.... It was awesome! I was pleased and surprised.
While the "gate world" was spooky in the Japanese version due to the minimal sound. The english version was almost JUST as creepy. The effect of the "shostly sounding" overlapping voices was an interesting effect. They even added a spooky sounding screaming woman in there . Even the "next episode" preview was spooky with the choice of music used. Finally, those overdramtic previews actually fit *laughs*.

I think the answer's obvious. He's just small enough to get through the bars.

I personally like the explanation that one of the X-Laws looked down, spotted Manta, and very quickly tossed him into the cage while hoping Jeanne didn't notice.
It's the most glaring plot hole in this series, I think....

how did the x-laxs die just by killing there ghost. No offense, but first of all, try proper grammar, spelling, and capitalization. The admin usually prefers it. Anyways, if you were watching carefully, the three X-Laws that died were actually killed themselves, and not just their angels were destroyed. The first one, Larch was crushed to death by Bill, the football shaman (after he passed through the angel, he started to multiply the football players, creating so many that it piled up and crushed Larch). The second death, Denbat, was actually Swiss-cheesed to death by Turbine, because Turbine's multi-shot actually hit him, too. And finally, after Zang Ching beheaded the third angel with his gong, the gong turned back and hit Porf, the last X-Law.

I didn't get to see this episode, so I'm wondering, did they keep the fanservice shot of Jeanne inside the Iron Maiden? Not a big deal really, maybe its really cold inside there. XD Also someone mentioned the fight with Yoh and Hao, where it looked like Hao was dancing. I think he ment this scene. XD (I'm new here btw).
