Did anyone get Shaman King at an earlier time? At my house, Shaman King showed an hour earlier than usual. Now normally I wouldn't mind, but I didn't hear any announcements for it. Am I suddenly supposed to be able to read minds?! WAKE UP 4 KIDS!!! They're lucky I flip through channals or else they would have lost ratings!!

I talked to s-chan while watching Shaman King this morning. So I may have not noticed stuff.
- Jun doing random cute pose! ::squeal:: But I didn't hear what she said. Someone quote her for me?
- Ren's hair got bigger for a second.
- Dub Faust: "He's crazier than me."
Furu and s-chan: "XDDD!!"
- For one minute, Dub Horo's voice didn't annoy me. But then it did. Waah. I want Ueda Yuuji-ness back. T^T
- I will shoot myself if dub Horo says "dude" one more time.
- Spirit of Fire turned to a pretty blue and was shiney. Then crushed my dreams by turning red. (The color red on TV and computer screens hurts my eyes.)
- Nooo! I wanna see Lyserg get slapped.
- Opacho-sheep scared the crap out of me.
- Dub Mari: "Just finish me now..."
Dub Yoh: "Nah. I like ya. =D"

Yay, I watched, and it was not bad. Hmm, everyone was right, the characters do look older now. I think in the original, Ren did not start the fight with Yoh to learn a stronger technique. He fought with him to test if they were stronger enough to take on Hao, and unlike the dub, where the battle ended with both sides optimistic, I think Ren and Yoh were disappointed, because they could not beat the other, so they doubted how they could do against Hao. A lot of fights started in this episode, and I think they are going to end in two more shows. Hmm, I doubt Ryu/Rio would be the type of person that got picked on by jocks in school... I think Anna would have killed dub-Yoh for what he said to Mari, because it kind of seemed like he was flirting with her... Speaking of bitchslappers, too bad they cut Marco's out in this episode  . Seeing as Lyserg threw away his dowsing crystal four episodes ago, how did he throw a crystal in the air (when Morphine went up, it showed her in the crystal first before she came out)? So Karim becomes a centaur-like creature when he oversouls and Nichrom is following his brother's footsteps by using bug spirits, interesting.... It looks like Morphine's cleavage was not cut out, but considering that they edited her a new costume, it is not that noticeable. Yep, my thoughts, so..... *whips out a blackhole to disappear into* |

I liked this episode, 'cept for that it seemed rather rushed.
-"He's crazier than me!" "You wish." XD XD
-I don't really like blue SoF. It didn't really amke sense to me. How can he be the Spirit of FIRE and be water?
-Hao was abnormally hot in this eppie. Shadowchan was very happy. ^o^
-Opacho was cute, but a bit strange.
-Chocolove's bellybutton was strange and a bit gross.
-Thought it was bizarre how they randomly didn't edit out Luchist's cross-beard thing. No consistency. (In unrelated news, I just figured out that in my French SK manga, Rakist and Luchist are actually the same person! At first I was like "...Who the hell's Rakist?")
-Anyone got a screenshot of Marco bitch-slapping Lyserg? I wanna see that...

W00T!!! There was Faust VIII!!! Was Eliza's needle edited when she stabbed the Panda-man in the neck? I haven't seen the original, so I don't know what it looked like. Return of the Faust music!!! It was played in the first dub-episodes that he was in (with his old voice actor). In today's eppisode, it was played for about a second when you first see Mari. (it is simple, chimey music. I like it a lot ^-^) Some moments were made not-as-good by talking. One was a Lyserg moment (whooboy, that sounds like I'm talking about a drug ride...), when Chloe got all her new giant powers, and... I guess the other was... Mari? Either way, I liked this dub eppisode! Hm. Gotta disagree with you, U-chan. I didn't think the dub was that good. <The problem is that now I'm watching the originals first... ^^;> The Ren-fighting-Yoh scene was great though... somehow, I liked the tackiness. "Let's duke it out!" XD And Faust and Jun's conversations were quite cute. <Though originally Fuast called Ren-sama a baka... ^^> I really hated the dub Mari lines. To me, the worst moment of the dub. Originally, she had similar lines, saying that she would follow Hao in order to destroy a boring life. Yoh had said that no one was really bored, and that she was rather funny. So, still on the general "Fun" subject... but the Japanese was delivered better. It gave me a lot of false hope about Mari; when her expression changed, I had hoped that she had too. ^^; Surprisingly, I don't think that Faust's syringe was edited...  XD I just knew you'd notice the faust music, Usagi~ I was actually very happy when they played it, because the rest of the BGM really stunk, and took away the poignant feeling of this episode. <Granted, Meene'd attitude and voice did that too... Man, that was -AWFUL-> Lyserg Redemption: Part I is over. (The Lyserg Redemption is my title for episodes 58, 59, and 60. ^-^ Similar to how episodes 21-24 are the "Let's Go Kill Ren's Dad!" Arc.) But saving X-Laws doesn't really count... It's sixty that rocks... |

Hmm, I just found something strange... I recorded today's episode and rewatched it. At the next episode preview, it showed a clip of Luchist shooting his gun.... Only it was not a gun!!!!!!! I think Luchist's gun is going to be edited in next week's episode. Why, considering he is an adult; the only possibility I have is that Luchist dressed like a priest before, and it might be bad for a priest to carry a gun, even if he is evil... Oh, and pics: A bad pic of the original gunAn even worse shot of the edited gunAnd for Gus, the Spirit of Fire, water modeSorry about the edited gun pic. Luchist's edited gun sort of looks like a boomerang. Why would someone shoot you with a boomerang?
Opacho as a sheep! How cute! I still can't figure out if that's a boy or a girl, though.
