Ren saying "What the duece" made me...afraid...
Besides "what the duece" I enjoyed this episode...and this is one of the ones I have seen the original of!

-Anyone got a screenshot of Marco bitch-slapping Lyserg? I wanna see that... I'll do you one better and make a gif of it! Apologizes to Lyserg fans who take offense to this.  Lyserg bitch slapAs for the episode: -They ruined the Yoh x Mari scene with foghorns... FOGHORNS!! (Note I'm a bit biased being a Mari fan and all) -The scene where Morphine makes her new transformation, the 4kids version had Lyserg narrate what was going on, but the original the scene was silent except for the dramatic music. And judging from Lyserg's facial expression in the original, he was just as surprised as everyone else of what happened. I thought the scene played off a lot better without the cheezy narration. -"What the deuce?!"  |

Marco Slaps Lyserg.... Lyserg like saves the day sort of XD... and I't kind of like Marco got slaped when you think about it.

He slapped the taste out of his mouth! Thanks, Wasabi! I don't know why they cut that out; it wasn't as bad as SOF eating Shamash...
Anyway I thought I heard Ren say "What the deuce" but I thought I heard him wrong. But then again, he also said "Yoh and I are going to duke it out", which was soooo lame. Ren wouldn't say something like that.

Even though Luchist's dub spirit is spelled "Cifer" I just can't help but think of Seifer from Final Fantasy 8. o_0
I LMAO when Ching Ling was about to attack and then out of no where Eliza runs friggin' fast up to him with an shot and Faust said something I can't remember which made me laugh more at it.
Spirit of Fire looked so shiny in his water form. =D

Ok, after watching the dub 7785856725825 times and the original once i'm back ^o^
Um...i watched the original a few days ago so i cant really remember specific things except for:
1) They cut out Marco's bitchslap. ._. Poor Lyserg..
2) Cipher. Lucifer T_T
3) Bah, i don't think Faust and Jun were talkingn to eachother much during the Yoh and Ren fight...or at least, they weren't talking about how crazy Ren was compared to Faust and all that.

My subtitles suck at times, but i get the sheep thing now, i think. When Opacho turns into a sheep, it's like, spirit form. But, does that mean OPacho is some sort of spirit ally thingy..? oO;
Oh! The very beginning, i thought they did a very good job keeping the dialogue close to the original. Though, (in my subs, at least) Marco says to Millie "He has lost the justice" when she asks where Lyserg is. But in the dub, i thought what Marco replied was very mean. It saddened me inside. ...And it was awesome >3 Mean, but...yeah. >>;
Yeah...X-Law deaths...wow. Oh, and Lyserg covering Manta's mouth=XDDDD one of the best scenes EVER. I love his expression x3

I finally got around to watching my tape... Lovely, if you want, I'll write the comparison for you on this eppy and 60, since they're my favorites.
It wasn't as bad as I expected, but they still ruined why it's my favorite. Meene wasn't as supportive of Lyserg as she was in the original, and WHY did they make Marco seem like he was happy with Lyserg at the end? He was orignally mad 'cuz Lyserg showed him up!

That did seem completely out of character for Marco to be apologizing to Lyserg at the end. Maybe that was part of the reason they edited out the slap-it was too harsh for him to turn around like that? I don't know.
