Shaman King Opening Theme

Which opening theme do you like best? I have to sya it's a tought decision for me. I love them both a lot, not the U.S. opening but the jap. themes.

I think I will have to go with Oversoul though. It just drives me more! I dunno. Something cheesy like that. ;D

I have got to say Northern Lights. I find it much more powerful than Oversoul. It has more contrast and so forth. I also like the animtion for it better (although it is not all that different). I listen to it all the time, I hum it all the time, a crappy midi of it is my ringtone for my cell phone.

Oversoul is still great though, just a little, I dont know, "electric" for my tastes, sorta, jumpy, iunno how to explain it.

I actually do not mind the American opening all that much, I mean, the tune is ok, it would be nice if it were a bit faster and everything, and, the animation for it is the standard dub clip show crud, but, I sit and watch it every episode.

Northern Lights
It just feels more powerful to me. Also, I like it's (somewhat) faster beat. Also, like Vasuki, I too have a midi of it as the ringtone for my cell ^o^ . (Actually, if anyone here has a Nokia phone that can go online, I can direct you to where I've stored a few wallpapers and that ringtone.)

In fact, on my way home from work today, I had "Northern Lights" playing in my car CD player on a continous loop ;D .

This isn't to say I don't really enjoy Oversoul. It's just that I REALLY love Northern Lights.
Oh, but I don't really like the ballad version of Northern Lights, too slow! (I like fast tempo songs ^^; .)

The english opening is.... o.k . Now that I'm not as bitter as I was when the dub first aired I can say this. I will admit that the part where Yoh's VA starts singing is interesting. He's got a good singing voice.

Northern Lights!!! ;D! that song kicks ass! sorry for the cursing but i just had to! its actually my most favorite anime song X3! the ballad version...well..like Lovely says, its nice but its too slow ><

Oversoul is cool too, although i like listening to the instrumental version of it instead... i like the part where it seems the song gets stuck XD

the american theme, well i hate to admit it, but its actually sorta catchy...sure the chanting is annoying, but in my opinion its the best 4kids has come up with

Okay... There are two ways I prefer the songs.

If I'm just listening to the songs, I prefer Northern Lights, but if I'm watching the actual openings, I like Oversoul because of the animation. *loves the sequence with Ryu, Horo Horo and Ren performing their attacks*

Northern Lights. I've never seen the animation, and I just recently started getting the music, but there's just something magical about that peice.

On a related note Does anyone know where I can find Silent Weapon?

Wow. It's a dead heat. I must say, I was suspecting this would happen. Both of those songs are awesome so I figured it would be a split.

I think dub Yoh singing in the original is pretty cool, but I'm sick of the dub opening.

I just like oversoul a little more than Northern Lights.
