I am not going to reveal who I voted for, but I have to say I'm not suprised.
I stood in the voting booth for a good 5 min. contemplating who to vote for.
I skipped the president and did all the other voting and then went back to the first page.
It was a very difficult choice for me. I really didn't like either of my choices.

i didn't vote at all. i'd feel to presured and plus, politics is like pepsi to me *hiss* but i don't like bush for his anti-gay things he has going. if he makes gay marriage illegal in all 50 states, i will be livid.

Oh don't compare Bush to pepsi bro. That's just wrong. Pepsi is WAY better than Bush.
I don't like how Bush ran things, but something about John Edwards just didn't sit right with me. Not so much Kerry, but it was Edwards that I didn't like. I am glad he lost, but like I said, I think we were doomed to lose either way.

Angry, very angry. Although I didn't care for Kerry either, I just didn't want Bush to win. I think we were doomed with either candidate anyways. I just felt a worse doom with Bush. It's time for me to abandon this place and move to Canada.

Wow, my feelings are very simillar to Saturns 0_0 .
So yeah, basically "ditto" to what Saturn said. However, now I'm just feeling kind of depressed. However, I AM glad that this whole election thing is over. Being in a swing state SUCKS. Numerous phone calls, EVERY comercial political, signs signssigns everywhere. Not to mention the fact that my town is apparently really republican and they can get pretty mean about it 0_o . I don't mind if you have different beliefs than me, just don't be mean. (I also have NO ability to debate with people. So if I disagree with someone I ussually keep my mouth shut.)
Oh, by the way - I'm not going to ban political discussions, but please post carefully. If this thread resorts to flames and personal attacks it WILL be locked (none of that so far though ^_^ .)

Wow Lovely. I couldn't agree with you more. I live in Ohio, the swing state thatactually decided the election.
I am so glad the ads are gone. I was elated to see a car commercial today and not look at John Kerry did when he was 12 years old. He pushed somebody. Can he be trusted?
I actually live in a highly democratic area even though Bush took the state and I agree that people sometimes take politics to extremes.
I'm just glad that I'm not the only one that feels this way.

I live in Canada, but, this effects me none the less, then again, it likily effects everyone...
Through the Media, and, word of mouth, I am fearful of Bush. I have seen all the internet cartoons, and Canadian Comedy things making him out to be a gun happy, job loving idiot who doesnt know geography and cannot speak english.
The logical part of my brain says, "Bush is most likily a smart man, as he is qualified to be president, and I am sure he is a nice guy, even though that is a bad way to think in the way of politics. But, then again, I dont like politics at all, and this is in another country, so, I should just sit back, and deal with the problems in my own little world, and hope the President doesnt do to much harm to the environment, or the people of the world."
Then, the wierd, media drunk, other part of my brain says.
"I hope he doesnt launch a nuke, I hope we dont nuked, I hope there is no nuclear winter, I hope nothing gets nuked."

*prepares to be beaten to death*
I'm glad Bush won.*winces in fear of being beaten with dictionarys and whatnot*........um......well, like I just said, I'm glad he won.Bush has a good head on his shoulders, even if he mispronounces a word or two.
I mean, our country was attacked and many people were killed, so would you rather've had him sit back and just say "well, I hope THAT doesn't happen again......"?I'm glad that he went to war with terrorist-inclined countries like Iraq and Afganistan and took Sadame from power.........
.......then again, I'm too young to vote, so I'm sure that my opinion means nothing in this area......but I am glad, beyond all human comprehention that he won.

What gets me most is that now Bush is saying the weapons inspectors weren't doing their job....if they weren't doing their job, how did he know that there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq? You can probably already tell who it was I voted for.....while I'm dissapointed Kerry lost, it's not too devastating to me. After all, we're just back to where we started before all this campaigning began. All we can do is hope that Bush will learn from his mistakes, that the Iraqis will have freedom, that Osama bin Laden will be captured, and that a civil war won't break out because of Bush's re-election. Oh well. If worst comes to worst, we could always move to Canada, where they have beavers and better beer.
I'm almost surprised there wasn't a re-count this time like there was with the last election. I think that made a lot of people doubt Bush more, thinking that he must've done something to the votes to ensure his victory. What annoys me the most about the campaining is when they have signs for Bush in one area and then somebody will put signs for Kerry right next to them. >< Why can't they just go find somewhere else? Aren't they just cancelling each other out by doing that? So, I'm also glad the campaiging stuff is over.

I am so p*ssed. On TV Bush was acting all smug like he was going to win. I can't say that I'm surprised, but it doesn't stop me from being mad. Oh, and where I'm at, they voted in the congressman that wants to take away work-study. I need work-study! Badly. I can't get books if I don't work at the University. God, I hope they keep work-study.

Although I don't live in America, the elections have been all over the news. And just this morning, in my History lesson, we were learning about the truth on Bonfire Night. Then the teacher started saying you shouldn't trust the government and then a girl said that Bush could have set up September the 11th so he could go into Iraq. Now all my History class thinks this. By the way, I'm sorry if any of you are upset upon me mentioning September the 11th.

Erm, I'm not a fan of Bush, but I'm pretty sure he did not set up September 11th.
