Well, since the thread is spoiler-marked....
They all die several times, whether it be training in Hell or killed off by someone...... Have no scans, sorry, but from what I remember of the deaths off of the top of my head: Chocolove is killed the first time by Rebseb, Ren the first by Nichrome, everyone (including Yoh, Lyserg, Horohoro, etcetc) do their little 'training in Hell' deal, so I suppose you could consider that death. As for any others, Marco is killed off by Anahol's brother.....hrm. I know there's more.... I'm too lazy to look this up in the chapters and get ALL of the deaths straight at the moment, but as for how they come back: Jeanne, Sati, and also Faust, later on (I think), have the ability to revive those who have passed on.
Probably not much of a help X3. I'm not exactly a fountain of info.
Edit: Hrm...I guess two months ago isn't THAT far back, but you shouldn't bump up aging topics.

Ne, Drave, does Marco stay dead after that? I know that he didn't die in the car crash (Jeanne revived him), and Jeanne also stopped him from comitting suicide at one point.
Y'know, this thread isn't really marked with "Spoilers." It's marked "SOILERS." What a "soiler" is, I'm not sure. I don't think I want to know. Perhaps it's dirt on a character that could be used to blackmail them? And who is "fuast?" I don't think I've met him, or "lyserg etc." Is that last one some sort of clone of Lyserg, the "etc." denoting his status? [/sarcasm]

Yep. All of these deaths are in the manga. I don't think anyone dies in the anime who hasn't appeared in a couple episodes, like Fudou was only around for 2 episodes, and Ashil was around for 1 and an ending scene of an episode. I don't think Ashil is in the manga. I don't know about Fudou. Wait, A few people who've appeared in a couple of episodes die, but I won't spoil that. Because it would be getting off topic...I think.

Fudou and Ashil are anime-only characters. And yes, these deaths are all manga-only.
No, mentioning the X-Laws wouldn't be off-topic. After all, this thread is marked for "SOILERS" about how the "charaters" die. ::sniffle:: Meene-san....

In the manga, I think the heroes all die about three times each. So, not a lot of people... just a lot of deaths.
And let's not forget all the X-Laws who died.... ::mourns::

All I can remember right now is that Ren gets stabbed by Peyote's giant oversoul and is revived by his friend's furyoku. I think Jeanne's spirit revives him in the manga, can't remember.

Yeah, most of the main characters die about 3 times, but come back (but Faust dosn't come back =/ ). And most of the patch priests get killed, because Yoh and co. have to fight them to get to Hao.
Seyrarm and Redseb die and don't come back either.
But of course, we don't know if any more patch die, because Takei had to end the manga __ __;;
