Innle: Naw (we all known that no one in this series stays dead for too long X3). Jeanne revived him with Shamash's kiss just before his car went boom.
however, that's not to say he survived the end of the series....

Yeah, most of the main characters die about 3 times, but come back (but Faust dosn't come back =/ ). And most of the patch priests get killed, because Yoh and co. have to fight them to get to Hao.
Seyrarm and Redseb die and don't come back either.
But of course, we don't know if any more patch die, because Takei had to end the manga __ __;; ChibiFaery...? Uso, darou? <It's a lie, right?*> Please... even if this is a death thread... use spoiler colors... *Direct Horo quote... ; |

Our Ashil's going to be angry that you don't know who his namesake and pet bishonen is, MaverickOversoul. He was called "Basil" in the dubbed version. Sadly, Kuroi, it's not a lie. Edit: well, "spoilers" was spelled wrong...but I fixed it...so NOW it is clearly marked "spoilers" Um... No it's not. It still clearly says "SOILERS." (Please forgive me. I have no relevant info to post *is stoned*) I only fixed the first post subject so it shows up on the thread page spelled correctly. I have no intention of fixing the mispellings of every post replied after that... |

I know... I saw those scans... Lyserg wearing the glasses and screaming Marco's name... why didn't Jeanne do anything?! Even when Lyserg was crying, she didn't say anything to him... even if she was in shock, a good leader comforts her subordinates when they're grieving. ::weeps:: ;-; Awww...Innle, you wouldn't happen to know a place where i could find those scans, would you? o.o ._. Basically, he gets killed by a patch priest ever so close to the end of the manga. I'm not sure how this priest kills him, but Faust dies.

yeah faust dieds while fighting one of the 10 priest. And after the fight faust didn't care if he comes back as long as he is with elzia. but the shaman king charaters were hurt so yoh used faust spirt and did spirt unity to heal them.

Well, Faust and Rebseb (both dead) do appear in the last chapter, so I can assume that Faust was either alive or in spirit, I skimmed the chapters before that. Rebseb is dead and dead. Anna did tell Faust that he was going to be the doctor of the Funbari Onsen business in the future, so there isn't much a way around it for him, I suppose.... As for how, I think he was stabbed through the stomach/chest area, if I remember correctly. The wound didn't kill him, but he just wore his body out afterwards.
Edit: Oh, can't say for sure that he did stick around though. Hana was viewing both the graves of Mikihisa and Faust in the last installment of Funbari no Uta, and no spirit Faust there.....
