Hm, you know what? Looking at the magazing, now I've become confused. It seems to have a lot of different stuff on it, so I think I may have gotten my wires crossed with different companies. So more than likely, you are completely correct.

I have to say though, with the way that Rurouni Kenshin ended, doing it the way they did (SPIOLER: having Shinta {Kensin} die), it couldn't have ended better (SPIOLER: Shinta dieing on the lap of, and in the arms of, the one he loved, Kaoru).

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention ONE more thing about ADV.
Everyonce in a blue moon they actually do get another studio to dub one of their titles. The only one I'm aware of that did this was their release of the Wild Arms TV anime. They used the "Bang!Zoom" dubbing studios. (New York , Lots of Animaze VA's ^^ .)

No it doesn't. I got every Evangelion episode and the movies for 50 bucks, I got 30 Yu-Gi-Oh! episodes for the same price. My friend has Naruto episodes 1 to 100 and he got each for about 40 bucks. All uncut.

0_o . Pretty much ALL the ADV dvds I've seen have 4-5 episodes on them. Ussually 5.
The only series that doesn't is Kino's Journey. And that's a sort of OAV series, so that's understandable. And I hear Gantz has only 2 episodes a disk, but the price is lower. ... and Gantz is a special case anyways. (and it's too violent for Lovely to give a care about anyways.)

That's true: The Evangelion movies were done at Manga Entertainment, which is probably why they don't have the bloopers, like the commentary thought they would. They use pretty much the same actors, though, except those who've "fallen off the face of the Earth", as they put it.

Uh, actually, besides the dubbing, Manga Entertainment has the RIGHTS to the Eva movies. They just contracted a lot of the ADV voice actors back to do the voices for them.

Wow, you learn something new everyday. Although, that does make sense now that I think about it.

I have nothing against people who buy bootlegs, but it's kind of pointless to compare the prices of official DVDs to the prices of illegal DVDs.
