Yeah Jr, that's a bootleg Sometimes bootlegers steal there subs from fansubs. Sometimes, they just steal region 1 dvd's and mass produce them. Then just stick a different cover on the front.

And he said at first they called Chocolove 'Chocolate Delight' Actually, I think most of them WERE chinese names. For example, Ren's name was changed to 'Lian' on the DVD, but 'Ren' is actually Japanese for the otherwise Mandarin Chinese name 'Lian' Also, When Ren shouts "Chuu-Ka-Zan-Mai", the sub says 'Zhong-hua-zan-wu", same thing, Chinese word. (See the August 2003 issue of SJ or SK volume 2 if you don't believe me)

Please excuse my slightly retarded question, but I desperately need to know: whats the best place I can purchase SUBBED anime? (OP, SK, etc...) Or at least where do you guys buy yours? I was just gonna originally get them off Ebay, but all this talk and evidence of abysmal bootleg subs has kicked my confidence in the balls. suggestions please?

One Piece isn't liscenced for sale in the U.S, so any links people would point you too would be bootlegs and I would have to edit it . BUT! I'm gonna assume that you are interested in legit stuff as well. SO! Have no fear! Lovely is here! (I'm actually planning on making a thread about this eventually too.) I'll make this short though. The niftiest money saver and a good way to find DVD's online I discovered the other day. It's a site called, Dvd Price SearchSearch a title, and the site will find you the DVD store with the best DEAL. The site even puts SHIPPING into the equasion. That site helped me find a great deal for the Fruits Basket boxset from DeepDiscountDVD. I purchased the DVD boxset of Fruits basket the other day for only $60. The SRP for that said is about $90. You can also check out the "Retail" forum of the Anime on DVD websites forums. People are always posting coupons and deals in there.

I doubt there will be TMM uncut DVDs.
Look at the ONLY properties of theirs that have (or reportedly will have) uncut DVDs: Yu-Gi-Oh!, Shaman King, One Piece.
The similarity? All Shonen Jump titles. And isn't Viz distributing the DVDs for them?
Coinkydink? I think not.
