Someone said something about Suncoast overcharging, its true. They are always overcharging, i go there just because they have so much more stuff. I got the 1st Chrno Crusade dvd when it first came out and was on sale there for 19.99, and would originally be 30 bucks! @__@

Did you know that ADV is also responsible for the licensing of Monster Rancher and Medabots,but both were dubbed by different companies.

Hong Kong Bootlegs. Illegally produced anime series on DVD. Normally of low quality. Often contains both english and Chinese subs.
NO money from purchasing these DVD's go to the orignal creators. Instead, the money goes into the pockets of corrupt people who go out and steal MORE shows that they can then sell to cheap people on e-bay.

A few ways to spot a bootleg DVD:
1- Cover art is different from official release
2- contains both Chinese and English subs
3- SUPER low price for a large amount of content (episodes)
4- Each disks contain many episodes.
5- If you ever post a link to them on the SKU message boards, Lovely edits your post *laughs*.

Well, the only think I noticed about the DVDs is that they all use the same font for their subs, something like Times New Roman in yellow. And they call Orochimaru "Snakemaru" XD.
The Evangelion ones have PERFECT quality, it even comes with the english dub.

Still...I find em a helluva lot better than 4krap entertainment's cut-to-ribbons anime. It also helps to know a little Nihongo (^_^)

lol, no, it would be funny if it was, but no, One Piece is never hentai. XD Sorry, I thought it was clear that I posted these to show how BAD and MESSED UP HK bootleg subs are.

Yes, that's all One Piece, it's from the Skypiea arc, which is like episodes 95-143, you won't get there for a long time.
Sometimes a page of images will do wierd things like not load all the way, there probably was too much bandwidth being used at the site or something.

O___O uh oh....Inu thyinks she has a bootleg dvd...Mitsukai from here mailed it to me, its got the last 7 eps of SK on it...it was from the box set of the series he got from Discountnimedvd.com or something...

I think this because..The cover art is different like Lovely says, it has both english and chinese subs, and some of its subs are kinda bad. For instance, they messed up some of the names, the subs call Lyserg 'Lisaru', Chocolove 'Chocolai' and past Hao 'Yoh King'

I've bought a few things from that site. Just recently I ordered the last couple episodes of shaman king and FMA (Not the bootleg)

The weird thing though, is that when I got the first box [shaman king] set from the site, There did'nt seem to be any problem with the subtitles. All the names matched up and there wasn't any blatant grammatical errors "that have stoopid familiarlings from ths"

All the characters said their lines almost verbatim(sp?) to the actual script (according to the site 'Oversoul')

Then I thought, "hey this isn't such a bad job." And sure enough, box #2 and #3 had "Ye falling Honglonghonglong"

And it wasn't just shaman king either, I've gotten Hikaru no Go from the same site, same situation.

(Although Hikaru no Go's problems only lasted for only part of a box set, and no really severe grammer issues, just name changes)

Ah well, cheap price and anime that won't come stateside or be fully uncut anytime soon for crappy Engrish, that's equivalent exchange ain't it?

I think I was given bootleg .hack//SIGN DVD's for christmas.

Three disc DVD with all 28 ep. including Unison.

Two 10 ep. DVD's and one 8. No Chinese subs though and the artwork on the cover....well I have no comparison so I don't know.

If it is a bootleg, then I have to say they sure do make a quality product!!! XD

It has Jep. and Eng. subs and it has extras but they don't really show anything extra!!
