I'm starting to use faces in my subject titles too much...
*ehem* Too much anime~! Now it's time to talk about the good 'ol American cartoons!! ^__^ The old ones, the new ones, the ones that were taken off the air but shouldn't have! You name it! XD
My all time favorite is Invader Zim! O_O I mean...it's...just...genius! ><!
And...GIR > all the other sidekicks or whatever the hell they are in cartoon history!! @__@
Mmm...waffles...
*cough* xD
But they removed it off the air, right? In the states at least. Because the kiddies didn't like it. And because it was "too gross"?? o_O? It's still on here, but in spanish, and it sucks in spanish! >/
I used to loveeee Spongebob Squarepants. O_O But now he's just gotten old. = =; But zomg Patrick is still awesome. XDD
Patrick: Hey...if were under water...how can we have a fire? *fire goes out*
XDDD
And same reason again, Spongebob sucks in spanish! ><!
Oooh~ I love the Simpsons! O_O Absolute hilarity! XD And Futurama, but it wasn't so popular, huh? Bah, anything Matt Groening makes. >/ (Did I spell his name right? o_O;;)
Oooh! And Family Guy!! XDD Good God....basically all the stupid humor shows. XD!
And...this one is odd...but I love South Park! XDD Yes, I find crude humor hilarious. I like Kyle for some reason...o_O I just...like him the most. O_o
Poor Kenny, ne? XDDDD
People: *crush Kenny* Person1: OMG! I found a penny! Person2: You bastard!
XDD
Umm...um...sorry for language. o_O
And...lesse...the good 'ol Looney Toons of course! ^__^ Bugs is the almighty one! o__O!
Gah...long post...I'll stop here...but I just got SO hyper writing this!! >< *hyperactivates*

Smartest thing USA has ever done, well, second to Clinton winning the elections.
I think my favorite has to be The Simpsons (the new episodes are gaaaaaay). Sarcasm and witty jokes at their best.
Rocko's Modern Life was awesome too.

My all time favorite is Invader Zim! I mean...it's...just...genius! ><! Yeah!!! Go Zim! Vasquez is genius! Too bad it was cancelled, and Jhonen will never go back to the show unless he can have Zim melt the faces off of his classmates. Family Guy's also cool. I have a Stewie shirt. The Simpsons has been one of my favorite shows since I was about 8 months old (the time the simpsons started)

Invader ZIM is my second favorite American cartoon. I used to be obsessed with it a few years ago, and it wasn't cancelled cause people didn't like it. People LOVE it. It was cancelled cause of god damned Nickelodeon, i HATE Nick so much >_<; I read some of their 'reasons' why they cancelled it. I don't remember what they were, but they were crap. And i think it had a bit to do with the Johnny the Homicidal Maniac comics that Jhonen Vaquez(sp?) did too. Either way, i miss it. It was so hilarious! Quote~ GIR: I was the chubby lady, hiding behind the bushes! I also like Family Guy. And the Oblongs. And.....ooh! Drawn Together! And it doesn't come on much anymore, but As Told By Ginger. Probably more which i can't think of at the moment.. My all time favorite~~ SOUTH PARK!! ^__^ SP is the greatest thing ever created by us Americans XD Seriously, i love it. I've even written a few SP fics. Its just...awesome. I LOVE Tweek! he is my husband...and Lyserg too, XD they have to share .. ;tweek yeah is the best.."TOO MUCH PRESSURE! ARGH!" o__< X3 and Stan rocks too. And Kyle. And kenny. And i hate Wendy ; XD One of my favorite episodes which i was thinking about earlier was the 'Stupid Spoiled Whore Video Playset' one, with Paris Hilton. I laughed so freakin' hard.

My favorite american cartoons....I know! How about the Tick! That show was so cool back when I was a kid!
"The Midnight Bomber, what bombs at Midnight!" XD
Plus, who can forget Freakazoid? I know many people who still run around the room with their arms straight in front of them pretending to fly! Of couse, there's also Transformers(the original). I still own the dvd of the movie(Orson Wells makes an awesome Unicron).
Some of these shows may be a little old for some of the people on this site.

I like Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends...
I think it's a cute and funny show. I didn't want to watch it when it first came on, but my friend told me to and I loved it.
"Because of the horrible work you have been putting up, I had to settle with 23 carat gold instead of 24! Luckily, the diamond teeth draw the attention away." -Bloo
I also like Dave the Barbarian because it's so... random! The perfect thing to watch when I get home from school! XD

I watched the first episode of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends and enjoyed it. The weird thing about it is that they only show the first episode on the Cartoon Theater of Cartoon Network because.........It's 1 hour and 30 minutes long!!!! I liked that episode and decided to watch some more. However, Bloo had a bigger attitude in the two episodes I watched. Meh.........I don't like characters who have a big attitude......

*spasm* GARGOYLES
Gargoyles in my opinions is THE best thing that has ever come out of Disney. Words cannot give justice to it's greatness. It has a little lazy (but not bad) animation at times because of money issues and japanese animator lazyness, but all in all, it is an amazing experience. The characters are brilliant, even the secondary characters. And the cool thing is, every secondary character has backstory, and most have episodes set around them, if not important roles in the overall story. No character is truely evil, and all characters have serious flaws. It is often refered to as "American anime" because of it's style, but in all honesty, Gargoyles is something that has never been done again, by any country.
I used to love all the Sonic shows....but, that was just because of Sonic, I was too young to realize how comically bad The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog was (I thought it was cool) and, SatAM Sonic sorta scared me (when I was 4-5) so I was sorta not driven to watch it. I watched Sonic Underground, because it was Sonic, I think I may have liked it, but hey, it had Knuckles, and Athair (Comic only character, until then) So, I was pretty amazed after that.....
Earthworm Jim was probably one of the funniest shows for a youth audience ever. Unfortunatly, the youth audience didn't like it very much, it was cancelled after one season.....
Animaniacs is the last show I can think of right now (Oh, but I have more...) that isn't too "kiddy". Animaniacs was a true cartoon show. It was almost like an, "Adventure sketch" series in a way; With all the little series which existed in it. Who can forget Chiken Boo, It's Mime time, or Good idea-Bad idea. It also spawned
Pinky and the brain, another really great show, but, again, the audience was a little thin I think. Pinky and the brain also spun Pinky, Elmira and the brain, which used a character from Tiny Toons... I didn't like that series as much, I thought it was a one episode joke at first (I think it was, but it expanded).
I do love Family Guy (I love randomness...), Futurama (;_; so sad it cancelled...) and Simpsons....South Park has mabey 1 or 2 good episodes per season in my opinion... I rarely watch it....
So many more, but, thats all for now.
*Rent/buy the Gargoyles DVD. The cult followers really need the second/third season to come out so we can see more Puck. Or, I can see more Puck.... and Angela....and all the cool guys. Come on, you'll like the series I promise, Lt. Riker from Star trek voices the antagonist, everyone likes Star Trek, Right? right...?*

Gargoyles was cool whenit was on network Tv and I could watch it.
I have to agree with van and say that The Tick had to be without a doubt the coolest superhero show ever!!
I mean how coul dyou not laugh at a battle cry consisting of only the word "SPOON!" XDD
I laughed so hard I nearly cried at a couple of those episodes.

"SPOOOOON!" I loved that catch phrase....
*cough*
Anyhoo, Gargoyles was GREAT in it's prime. But in it's last season ("The Goliath Chronicals") it was ever so awful. Well, I guess that's how things go. And yes indeed, Puck was awesome! The show did some brilliant things with the whole "time travel" concept.
I too loved Invader Zim but I can see why it would get canceled. It appeals more to teens and adults then it does to kids!
I like some Disney stuff too. Filmore is BRILLIANT. It's a sort of Law and Order spoof using kids. Great stuff, and the "chase scenes" were a mixture were not only imaginative but hillarious.
Recess was also fun for it's humerously serious take on the politics of Recess. Good times~
I saw a little bit of Kim Possible once. It was actually surprisingly witty and funny. I wouldn't mind catching another episode sometime.
For the classic WB stuff. I really loved Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, and Freakazoids. *sigh* Back in the day, the WB wasn't afraid of making shows that had some humor geared towards the older set (and that could easily be missed by the youngins'.) Good writing back then.

Lately, LC has been making me watch a lot of Batman: the animated series. He has the first two season box sets. Dark stuff and good stuff. I never watched it when I was younger.
I also really like Gargoyles (minus the 3rd season). "You know how Bronx loves trains." *Saturn slices tv in two*
I really like Kim Possible. I'm glad they put it back on on Saturday mornings, however they shouldn't have sacrificed W.I.T.C.H. to do it. Darn Disney! I love Ron Stoppable...such a great character. And the humor is great in that show.
