Hum..... I'm probobly going to get back into watching the Dub One Piece now.... Because the last episode was hilarious. XD I actually think the voice acting is improving..... Ussop: *barely concious* I'm heading down a warm tunnel...towards a white light.... Vivi: DON'T GO TO THE WHITE LIGHT USSOP!!! TOT Oh, that part ! I actually laughed at that part (not in a bad way). Then they had Zoro say it right afterwards. Yeah, I'm crazy...

I just thought of something...
***At the end of last weeks dub episode, Chopper did identify the disease that Nami had (Keiseta or something, it the same in the dub and sub). Well, since Nami got the disease from a insect bite in Little Garden, and because 4Krap skipped Little Garden, how are they gonna explain the source of Nami's sickness?***

Yeah I know...maybe they'll just say that's the scientific term as opposed to the common term.

Thanks. I made it from movie 6.
But as I said, I think it's simple enough. Kestia = scientific name for "Grand Line Fever". They don't need to say it's from Little Garden.

OK, I think I found a way to make the dubbed One Piece a bit tolerable..... ....mute the TV and put on the captions! (It also helps if you have the Japanese episode running on your computer at the same time ^ _ ^) I tried that this morning...and viola! I did'nt get a heart attack! Anyways...a few notes for today's episode... --The background music still sucks, Sanji's voice still sounds like shit. --No wait.....pretty much ALL the voices still sound like shit. --Chopper dubbed.....naah, ain't working for me. --Against a previous prediction by Useless, That scene where Kureha throws axes, swords and whatnot at Sanji and Luffy is still kept... (No return of the poison suction cups!) --....But they still took out part of the Chopper's flashback where people are shooting at him in human form. -- The "Human-Human Fruit"....well, it IS the correct translation I guess... --"They wouldn't even let him try out for dodgeball"...WTF!? -- And finally, a non-merged episode! Isn't that strange!? EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to mention that apparently Kureha mentioned that Nami's disease is from the jungle, so.....somewhat of a Little Garden reference? Well, like I mentioned earlier, I went by TV captions, so anyone who actually heard what Kureha said, do feel free to add. ^_^

--"They wouldn't even let him try out for dodgeball"...WTF!? *laughs* Of course I didn't watch the episode, but that quote makes me laugh. Why? It sounds like a reference to the "Rudolf the Red nosed reindeer." Get it? Reindeer games ?

Dialogue made me cry today, same with the voices, except for small Chopper, Ortiz did a fine job.
I loved how lame the flashback sounded; "What is that?! It has a blue nose! It's the Abominal Snowman! GET SOME ROPE! GET OUT OF HERE BLUE NOSE!" So lame

I didn't get to see it today, Fox Sports ran over it. I thought it was wierd that they said Nami got a bug bite "from a jungle". And it's called a "Stinky Dinky bug"? Who did they pay to come up with that one? Incidentally, the latest manga chapter is directly linked plotwise to Little Garden and the giants. Looks like they BETTER put it back in somewhere, or they're going to run into some deep trouble later on.

I think I asked about somewhere else, can't really recall though...
But anyways, I've been wondering how respectful that the One Piece: Grand Battle game is to the original Japanese version of the game, which I think is called One Piece: Grand Battle Rush or something like that.
Like, is it a decent game, or way too Dub Piece-y? Because the demo was hella fun.
Like are there any "poison suction cup" or kind of changes? Or is the game not bad in that respect?

I think I asked about somewhere else, can't really recall though... Uhm, you asked that question in a thread you started called One Piece: Grand Dilemna, Tonfa-sama. o-o; Scroll down and you`ll find your answer in a post by GhostGodzilla. *bows*

I have a question for anyone whose has seen the original episode of whatever dub number this was. Did the original episode have the scene where Kureha holds a scapel to Nami's throat, threatening her not to try and leave before she was completely cured? I ask because in today's episode, they showed a thermometer spinning in her hand, then in the part where she pinned Nami down, it seemed something was badly edited out of her hand, and it was the same hand that had her spinning "thermometer." Also, did they edit out the arrows in Dalton's chest when he was uncovered originally?
