Wow, that IS embarassing....
But I wonder if they also realize that the vast majority of the English fans are also disgusted by all the changes.

Well, that depends. The flow of information on English dubs is practically non-existent if it isn't successful.
I've heard rumors that Oda and Studio Pierrot (sp?) don't even know its butchered. And that even if he knew, Oda is passive about things.

From what we are speculating.... Luffy: Hey stop celebrating over the picture... they still haven't given it up yet. MetaKnight: Great, you guys got my hopes up too fast... *puts away the champagne and the fireworks* But anyway, is it even possible for someone else to redub the series from scratch? Won't they have to beg 4Kraps for the rights to it or something like that?

Actually that's an interesting question. Did Funimation (re)dub the first season or so of Dragon Ball Z? From what I heard Funi took over dubbing the series from Saban. And I don't think they did (or I just don't remember seeing it).

I've seen that before, but I'm not convinced it's legitimately Japanese, it could easily be made by someone in the US just to make a point.
And besides, that's pretty tame and forgiving compared to what most fans in America think of the dub. XD
