Regardless of whether you think it's funny or not. Hao does not rhyme with the slang term for whore.

Oh, and concerning Hao's name. Apparently the kanji that makes up Yoh's first name (which means "leaf") can be read as either "Yoh" or "Ha" . So I'm assuming That's where Hao's name came from. In fact, Pilika makes a mistake early in the series thinking that Yoh's name is pronounced "Ha Makura".

However, everytime I've seen Hao's name written out in Japanese, it's ussually in Hiragana.

I liked this espisode because of Zen and Ryo are really funny and Ryu's new look and that's he's a shaman like the rest of them now
Also I downloaded the Chimi Chimi Moryo song and it ROCKS!! It's much better than the dubbed version

Wooden swords (bokuda I think is what they are called) are seen in a few animes. Twilight Suzuka uses one in Outlaw Star, and Kuno in Ranma 1/2 uses one. They seem to be more useful for practicing Kendo though in real life. You can block with the sword and I guess you could whack someone really hard with it. I honestly wouldn't want to be whacked by one, that would hurt!

A wooden sword makes a lot more sense in Japanese culture than a fencing sword...

Ah, yes I see,
I was trying to think of another light sword weapon that Rio can use...
I guess it also depends on what wood it is made from.
But still... wood burns right? and iron/steel vs. wood = wood get sliced right!~?!?!
Ive seen a clip of Rio assaulting (eng.version name) Ashcroft (?) and he sliced his METAL armor....
I still say he should of been given a better weapon... AND BETTER looking oversoul form.

as for haos name, it is prounced like 'how' and what lovely said does make some sense...but haos name in japanese means 'king' so literally, his full name, asakura hao means 'leaf king' XD
