They kept Lyserg's name! Yay! Eh, Morphine's dub name is OK, but I would have rather that they kept it...but I have a fairly good idea why they didn't(aside from "dubbers 'logic'")

I'm surprised they kept Lyserg's name considering that's a drug reference too.
Oh.... and DOH! The fact that they have info about Morphine up on the site means that they've liscenced past the first 26 episodes doesn't it ;_; ?

God, I saw that. A little annoying that the little promo page is more up to date then the actually SK section they have that doesn't go anywhere past episode 7...Anyway.....
Chloe isn't too bad. It could be worse. Let's just be thankful Disney has the rights to the name Tinkerbell. As for Lyserg's name looking untouched, I can almost see what might have happened. Morphine's name is a bit more obvious than his. I never really figured out the drug joke for Lyserg's name until I read it somewhere. If they really want to change it, they can change the last name and keep both sides (the fans and the soccer moms) relatively happy.

*smiles at the fact that they refer to Lyserg as a "him"* I heard in so many places that he'd be dubbed into a girl... But now that they've left his name untouched, his voice is going to be bad. XD You can just tell...
Chloe... sounds kinda stupid XD But yes, it could be worse.

Hmm...speaking of Lyseg's gender, I wonder if 4Kids'll keep in Ryu mistaking Lyserg for a girl and getting a little crush on him...probably not :/ Which means that they'll be crap diaolauge to get around it...

^^ I'm happy. I actually like the name Chloe a LOT, and i never really liked Morphin's original name anyway ^^;;; dont hit me. Did you see that if you enter the contest u get a preview pack of the Shaman King cards? (that goes for EVERYONE who enters) ...Maaaaybe i'll enter. i wonder how many are in a "preview" pack? Hn. Look on the bright side, Lovely, at least the next season of 4kids Shaman King will give you something to do... Of course, my happiness may change after hearing Lyserg's dub voice. *Twitches* IF THEY MESS THIS ONE UUUP..... i will be very angry indeed.

I accidentally stumbled upon the drug joke of Lyserg's name while I was typing in drug names in my Japanese translator program. o.0
I was so sure they were going to name Lyserg something like "Lance!" Yay!!
As for Morphine's.... Chloe doesn't seem like a good name for a fairy-like creature/spirit/thingy... thing. I was almost betting on something like "Starlight" etc. I am really amazed.
Isn't LSD an addictive drug?

I heard from my girlfriend that they were renaming Lyserg to "Lisa" and turning him into a girl!!!
I dunno but 4Kids should stay the f**k AWAY from my Lys-kun. =(

Well, 4Kids doesn't seem to have a great track record with names (or anything else besides people getting kicked in the no-no zone, but that's another topic entirely ). I mean, yeah, 'Chloe' isn't really as good a name for a fairy as 'Morphine' is....And 'Corey' isn't exactly as good of a name for a nature spirit as 'Kororo'...But, that didn't stop anyone over there.  |

A lot of my friends were scared bout the lyserg thing they thought he would get some stupid name. one of my friends said that it better not be ending up with my naame...sigh...that was mean  ...but anyway i guess chloe is an okay name...let's hope 4kids wont do anymore namechangings |

4Kids? Not mess up names? That'd signal the apolcolype...anyway, I'm suddenly worried about what they'll do to the X-laws since they rant about God & sinners and whatnot a fair bit...Shaman King is one of those anime that really benifits from being able to say "god" and "death" and stuff like that, but 4Kids likes to evade those kinds of things...(/off-topicness)

I'm under the personal beleif that if 4kids tries to show episodes past 26 they are going to get into trouble eventually. No matter how much they edit.
I mean, even if they change the plot and edit out symbols to their hearts content. The X-laws and their look (including Jeanne) is just.... well, I would think it's going to turn some heads.

I wonder how the X-Laws are going to end up... I kinda LIKE how the X-Laws are... 4Kids shouldn't have gotten Shaman King. Mankin should've been picked up by some other company... something tells me the X-Laws are going to get changed DRASTICALLY... Esp. Jeanne-sama and Marco... urk!
If Marco sounds anything like Mario from the Mario video games... I will... just... die!
