My favorite episode of the entire series... I'm happy about the way 4Kids dubbed it. My friend and I where sitting a foot away from the TV right before the scene when Ashil-kun got shot, waiting for the feather and what happens? Comercial! I spazzed out and hit the TV with a pillow...
I don't really like the new X-Laws music. It makes then sound... too right. But at the same time it fits their appearence rather well. It brings out their holy side and makes them look more like a source or comfort. At first when I heard Marco's English voice I loved it. 3 seconds later I realized it was Eric Stuart. For the past two years I had watched the YGO dub on and off because I didn't have acces to the original so Kaiba's voice was stuck in my head. I love the tone of Marco's voice, it fits him well but I can't get past the fact that it's Kaiba's...

Eric Stuart is probably my favorite VA. I love the attitude his characters have. Kaiba and Brock are such different characters. Kaiba and his lack of emotion and Brock with his uncontrollable emotions. "NURSE JOY!!!" ;D I didn't expect Marco to be voiced by him especially with the clips I have scene concerning Marco. I will be very interested to see how he handles Marco's character. I still can't get Ashil's death out of my head. I'm going to quit repeating myself now. Nice Avatar Kojika and welcome to the SK boards!! EDIT: I almost forgot. I loved "Rio's rule of thumb!!" He didn't try to summon Billy. Is Billy going to be phased out? I WANT MY BILLY! ehh, my comment has to do with the x-laws theme....i havent heard the one lovely has...too lazy to click it...yes im too lazy for everything...T_T well, i have the OST, and so i have the melody of the spirits cd, which is all the BGM, and the x-laws theme is 1:35  although the show can make it run longer if they like... ah! >< i forgot to mention Bill....man...through the entire episode his spirits wouldnt stop saying 'hut hut hut!' i was on the verge of shooting myself...ok not really.. i know i mentioned this before...but...next...episode ><!! you guys have been talking about yoh bleeding...well...next episode...gah! >< theyre gonna cut it i know! ahem..sorry...^^;;; |

eric stuart aslo does james on pokemon.
and yes i agree with everyone that ashil needed to prolong his stay on the series. it would have ment more that if he had died later on and said "sorry master"
cuz then you would have gotten to see his loyalty twords hao alot more.

I disagree. I think Ashil's death had an impact in this instance BECAUSE he was only around for a short time. It's true, he had potential, and I think that's what made his incredibly quick exit all the more tragic. It also showed the ruthlessness of the X-laws. They didn't know about Ashil or his motives, they just killed him because he worked for Hao. Just my two cents ^_~ .

I really like both the X-laws themes. The Japan one really is more creepy, but I believe both of them portray the cult/religious theme nicely. I love your Ashil pics, Ashil This hot spring episode is really being hyped, I am quite curious... |

I have to agree with Lovely. I think the fact that all Ashil was doing was trying to impress Hao(even if attempting to kill most of the cast is a jerk way of doing it) makes it sadder. The thing is I'm not really sure how Hao felt about his death. He didn't seem to even really notice, but then again I just cannot think of Hao as being cold and uncareing. Must be the smile.

Hao doesnt really even care because he has way stronger shaman on his team than Ashil. (no affence Ashil fans)

I will be very interested to see how he handles Marco's character. ya, is why it was so hard for me to figure out it was him... im so used to kaibas *bad-ass* attitude then POOF "yoh, come towards the light" i was very upset. i wanted lyserg to be all "but yoh i wanna go with them!!" then yoh would protest or something, and lyserg would go away with the X-laws. stilll wondering how and when hes gonna *COUGHHACKWHEEZE* though... |
