Ironically, the thing that I reference in the subject title will probably be cut ^^; .
Anyhoo, this episode was originally titled "Hanagumi" aka "The Flower Group". And this is their episode to shine.
I would also like to give this episode the additional title of , "Anna is Frikin' Cool" ^_~ .
*** Rewatching this episode was a treat. A lot of fun and cool things happen ^_^ .
First, Sharona giving Yoh's group the name "The Yoh-yoh's" XD . I hope that isn't changed.
Second, MANY moments of Anna looking cool. Anna in her shades. Anna and her "legendary left" (which I predict will be cut). Anna using her newly aquired spirits. And then to top it all off, a long meaningful look between Anna and Yoh when they finally meet again ^___^ . So sweet!
I would like to point out that this episode marks the second meeting between Hao and Manta. It's interesting because Hao is never really intentionally mean to Manta AND Hao doesn't ignore Manta.
Looking closely, it seems that Kanna is chewing on a piece of strawberry pocky instead of a cigerette. I swear. It really looks like Pocky ^^; . BUuut, the editors wil probably cut it for looking cigerette like anyways (that, and most U.S people do not know of that yummy treat.)
Another thing to be cut will probably be Ren pocking Chocolove on the nose with his Kwan Dao... again. TWICE XD .
Something that has consistently NOT been mentioned in the dub is mentioned again in this episode. And basically it's Kana putting down "human spirits" (such as Amidamaru) .
Another predicted cut-- Chuck's gun. It looks like a gun, it sounds like a gun, it shoot BULLETS. Not sure how they are gonna handle that.
Lyserg shows up in his newly aquired X-laws uniform in the very end. Since it's a side shot, the uniform looks like any other X-laws uniform... but... XD ....
Oh, and so quick that if you blink you'll miss it, an Eliza and Faust moment. I'm serious, it's quick. I remember when I first saw it and went... "Hey wait.. what 0_o ? WHAT 0_0 !!! AH XD ! " Something like that ^.^.***

I think I mentioned in the predictions thread that I thought that the "legendary left" would be cut.
The 'relationship' you mentioned in the spoiler section is gonna be really interesting to see played out in the dub. I didn't see the first episode with it (which episode is that again? I wanna watch the original again), but once you get later in the series, they're gonna have problems if they screw it up...
Man... I feel so sorry for Manta as the series progresses...

hehe Yoh-Yoh's! ;D That'd be priceless to see and hear! Finally! The Hanagumi's coming in! YIPPEE! I've never seen any off the orginal Shaman King episodes and I don't have the manga...so all I have is the dub...  Except for the Uncut DVD's...but I "have to wait till Chirstmas" to be able to watch them...*goes and crys in corner* But seriously...Kanna's cigarrete real does look like pocky in some of the pictures I've seen...  Do I wanna know why that is? I WANT POCKY! Yeah...I'm hyper..*huge sweatdrop* So I'll stop since I'd just be rambling now.... |

** Erm, I'm wondering, why WOULD Anna's 'legendary left' be cut? It's just a slap. o_0 They showed her slap Jun...And if they did, how would they handle the scene? It would be funny if they cut it out, and Hao flies away with a red cheek. I'm sure some dub watchers are going to think otherwise if that happens...T_T
Since the dub hasn't released Zenki and Gouki's names, I wonder if they will here....same with Marco. Oh, and in this episode, Jeanne talks right? If she does....let's just pray she won't have a french accent...@_@
I don't think Chuck's gun will be cut...They kept the x-laws' guns. And~ if they do so, what would he attack with? His finger? A slingshot? XD
GhostGodzilla mentioned that in the game, Mari still talks in third person...please let be true in the dub....@_@ And I want to hear Macchi's voice! >_O
About the ElizaxFaust scene, Lovely, do you mean the part where the Lilly5 throw the bags out of the car and they drive away and you see them in the backround? o_0 Or is it IN the car? I was paying attention mostly to Anna in the car scene...
Oh~ and I know what you mean with Lyserg's uniform...XD
If they cut the name the Lilly5 give Yoh and the others, I'll shoot myself. @_@ I love that name! And the fact Yoh agrees to it...XD Oh and Lovely, I think it's spelled without the 'h's.
Oh, and I finally stopped being lazy and went to SK Nation. XD It says the dub title is "Goth Assault". XD

Dear Lord, I just remembered the game calls the Hanagumi "Goth Girls"......But Macchi and Kanna aren't goth. >< *dies*

They didn't really show Anna slapping Jun. It just showed a close-up of Anna in a pose I assume is when she had finished slapping her. By the way, 'they' is 4Kids.

I've recently received an e-mail about what Chuck's gun will be edited into (apparently, a young girl owning a doll with a gun is something that is too easily imatated 0_o . Oh, and some people see the epi's before we in the U.S do.) Heh, anyhoo, it's both horrible and hillarious, but I'm not gonna spoil the surprise ^_~ . **

Yeah... this episode was weird.
***They cut the gun, (rattle?!) but they left the blood where Ren gets...erm...stabbed. And they kept the slap too. They also mentioned that Ren poked Chocolove in the nose, but didnt show it.
But Lyserg in his uniform is always cute.

This episode was horrible. They ruined Mari completely. I'm going to buy the uncut DVDs instead of paying my phonebill. This is too much. They ruined Chuck. Those bastards should be shot.
;D Lyserg was adorable, though. That shall cheer me up during my next few internet-less months.

I for one am in agreement in the bombing of 4kids hq right now after seeing this eppy.
The dubbies have gone to far this time!!Making mari and macchi sound valley girlish was a disgraced to such a cool team!!And Mari didn't speak in third person and the changed Chuck's gun into a rattle and they made a refenerce to Malibu Babrie?WTF!!!
One line totally got me p.o.
Mari:I'm getting sick of this game.
Macchi:Your right let's go to the mall and buy those shoes we saw.The blue ones.My treat.
OK, your in the middle of the dessert,where the freak are you going to find a mall?!
YOU HAVE GONE TO FAR DUBBIES!!YOU HAVE!!*Someone throws a Ryu plushie.Goes and hugs it to death.*
This makes me feel better.I've calmed down now.
Now the funny parts.
1.The three cheers to Dobi village was funny.
2.When Anna and Sharona are talking in the car and the show a view of the van and it's all crowed.That was funny.
What didn't make sense to me was that when sharona went to get directions from Yoh she called the group the 'Yo-whats ups'(VERY EVIL NAME!!) but then called them the 'Yo-Yos'(oringinal name) in the van.Why didn't she just call them that in the first part? 
And Anna's lengendary slaps weren't cut out!! ;D
The dubbies did something right for a change.
Bonus:Saw the Eliza and Faust scene.Super kawii!! ;D

that dolls gun accually shot bullets, i think that was the concern...
otherwise the x-laws guns would of been changed (plus, they like zombie police figures anyway).
the object they changed it too was odd considering it still shot bullets.
