Epi 39: Legendary Left!

This was a horrible eppisode.....poor Hanagumi.....they all got the crap dubbed out of them.....

Um.....just a general question: Was it just me, or was Faust not there in the scene where Anna is talking to Hao?I mean, I saw Tamao and Jun and Pailong and then Manta came up behind them, but I didn't see Faust at all......sorry, insignificant comment.

i loved the anna and hao sceen. "it's my 2nd move that makes the impression" or something close to that. go anna!

faust randomly being behind the van with eliza was uber cute :-3


and whoever asked about T.K.O im looking it up now and not finding what it means. K.O. in general is knock out but im not sure what the T stands for.

T.K.O, I think the T stands for technical. I thought it sounded insanely stupid. The whole episode was. And Zeke does come off like he's trying to get some -----.
It freaked me out when he talked to Manta like that, because that pairing never occured to me (and never should have, gahhh, it's wrong).

I liked the Malibu barbie part. Barbies are fun. But it was OOC for Mari. Everything was, accually.

Well this episode was interesting. Malibu Barbie?! Product placement anyone? The girls came off a lot less cool than I had anticipated. And what in the name of holy hell is up with a rattle that shoots bullets. I've seen screenshots of Chuck with his gun and he scares the crap outta me (scary poessed Manta doll). Now that he had that rattle he no longer scares me; he makes me laugh.

A rattle that shoots bullets...give me a break.

Loved the Anna/Hao scene. He's always so calm, nothing bothers him!

Well, it seems that 4Kids has screwed up some more characters, yay!

what kinda urked me was that none of their spirirts made a sound 0_o; i woukd expect jack to at least laugh evily like most halloween items do.

and ashcroft should at least have made somkind of "urr!" sound. chuck im fine with being silent. and about product placement, i just noticed this.

Kay, just came back from watching the episode.

The BIGGEST problem with the episode (barring the rattle thing XD ) is that the Hanagumi's dialouge is... welll... ESPECIALLY in the case of Mari who's had her personality changed completely.

I did like their voices for the most part though. I even like Mari's voice to an extent. I mean, if she changed her tone and had different lines it would of been alright ^^;.

Oh yeah, And the Hanagumi were sent to Yoh and the other not to kill Yoh's freinds necessarily. Their main purpose was technically to beat the crap out of Yoh to show him how weak he is ^^; .

The Anna scenes were all right to me this time though.

Well, I haven't gotten to see this episode ywt, but my stomach is beginning to turn at the thought of the Hanagumi. They juts had to inout MORE valley girl talk into this series didn't they?

We were able to stomach Elly and even Milly in her first few episodes, but now they had to disgrace Mari, Macci, and Kanna.

I was really looking forward to this episode and keeping the legendary left will be nice, but...........OOOOHHH 4KIDS SUCKS!!! >_<

They're just going to "Usoppify" everything we love about our anime!

I guess I have to agree with what everyone said but my two cents I shall still give. ^^


The Anna and Hao scenes were nice, I think. x_o At least they kept Legendary Left. It's the same in the manga as Legendary could be a synonym for Great, Godly, blah. I think that was what it said. The Legendary/Great/Godly Left Hand...Bah, my mind is mush right now so I might even forget my mangas at this point, but...moving on... ><

I am somewhat a bit more irked by Anna's voice here. It seems maybe too ......lively? And dialogue wise, you may hit me with rocks if I am wrong Lovely, Hao said (Please note I am brain dead so I might be forgetting my translation that I used for my Mangas) that Anna would be the perfect -Along that line- Shaman King wife.

Anna replies by slapping him with her Legendary Left hand and she says 'Of course I am the wife of the Shaman King, because Yoh will win.' *racks her brain for being dead* And I'm too lazy to check whether that was accurate in my mangas. Blah. And I've run out of comments here. x_o


The Hanagumi were okay. Kanna's voice suits her somehow, Macchi's is too scratchy and full. Mari's is too...lively. I've always expected her to have a sort of, quiet, monotonous, and dark voice...And Chuck...If you recorded it and look at those shots of when he's shooting, you'll notice the 'rattle' isn't even attached to his hand. His hand was made to hold a gun, the part where he holds it, however, is empty and the rattle is held hovering above his hand. x_o So he's shooting with a rattle hovering above his hand. It's faint, but you can definately identify it.



And all saying that I'm glad for some Faust and Eliza moment. =3

I'm still angry about this ep. I don't know why I'm so mad, but I am......anyways, I wonder how they are going to handle chuck's gun in the episode after next ****'cause you know it turns into a gigantic horn thingy, I wonder if they will keep it the same, or if they will change it to some kind of humungous rattle

In any case I can't wait for the next ep. 'cause alot happens ****not especially looking forward to the Zeke scene, because well, I really just don't like Zekes voice, it's REALLY starting to annoy me. not sure why I'm putting this in spoiler but whatever, who cares.

Although come to think of it I won't even be seing it since it's christmas morning, lol. Oh well.
