xD A candle! LOL. I thought they would change it into various things, but I never thought a rattle.  And yeah, 'Zeke's voice is annoying. xP WHAT DID THEY DO TO HAAAAOOO!!!!!one one one eleven...whatever n00b speak is... *is sad with what they did to Hao* Especially considering his connection with Matamune. Okay. I made it through the episode unscathed I'm happy to report. *holds notepad up triumphantly *cough I'm going to initiate my own point system for 4kids on their dub work too. I'll start them out with 10 points. Okay, Someone mentioned that Yoh calls Sharona's group the Lilly 5. Unfortunatley, and I had the captions on to confirm this, he only calls them the Ly 5. -1 point 4kids! I'm sorry but I just think it's hilarious whenever Rio calls Len "Short pants" so I'm going to have to give a point to 4kids on that one. +1 4kids. Trey complaining about Sharona calling Yoh's group the Yoh-wassups? I am glad they complained about it, but I'm afraid that just using the term the Yoh-wassups was enough to make me sick. And Yoh thought is was a cool name? SHUT UP YOH! +1 for Trey's comment. -2 for the Yoh-wassups. They took Kanna's pocky away, but they still left the tatoo on her arm. I'll let the points even themselves out on that call. Kanna's voice. Liked it.+1. Macci's voice. Ehh I'm on the fence about Macci's voice. It's a bit too happy I think, but I'm not sure what her original character was like so I'll just stay away from it. 0 points. Mari's voice. I don't think I have ever been so upset about an edit by 4kids then I was today. I was without words when I heard her voice and they way they portrayed her character. I wasn't expecting much, and boy did I get it. To Quote Mari on her VA, "Ew. Barf!". -4 points 4kids!!!  The Malibu Barbie comment and the mall comments and the shoe comments and everything else the Hanagumi said that was out of place in this episode: -5 points. I summed it up here. I thought about going into more detail, but I'm lazy and I don't want to watch this episdoe again. Anna's Legendary left. Awesome! +4 points. Shot of Zeke's lego's without Hao on them. +1 point. If they would have put Zeke on them it would at least be consistent to a degree with the original. Faust/Eliza moment. +1 point. It's too short and no dialouge. Is Faust done now, or does he continue to travel with Yoh? I'm getting angry about Mari again. I share my birthday with one of the coolest characters on the show, and 4kids just had to ruin it. -5 points for making think about it again!!!! >_< Chuck! Well, what is left to say about "Baby" Chuck? "Baby": -1 point. Rattle: -5 points. I mean "What the hell?" The rattle shot bullets. BULLETS!!!!!! Real bullets. Guns shoot bullets. HELLO!!! Well, I'm done here. Final score: 4kids: -3 We: LOSE! >_< |

when i was watching this, i kept hearing "chibi" and not "baby"
i guess it could be the same thing, but i belive everyone that says his name was baby chuck.
i did'nt even hear chuck, i heard a diffrent name. but when mari said just plain chuck i was like "ooohhh....chuck"

Nice scoring system. XD Anyhoo~ Macchi was originally hyper, so the fact she has a happy voice is fine, the reason I don't like it is because it's all scratchy. >_O Although the "Yo, wassups" was somewhat annoying, Sharona DOES mention afterward that they should've called them the "Yo Yo's" which was in fact was the name she originally gave them. And the name Yoh agreed to. XD I forgot to mention, afterward when they told Yoh not to call them that, he asks what should they be called and Chocolove answers "The Chocoloves!". XD NO! I wasn't paying attention to Hao's legos...o_0 Ah well, it'd be a miracle if they did keep his name on it... Heh, I thought the same thing about "Baby Chuck" and his rattle. XD A rattle that shoots bullets...I think Lovely mentioned this, it's both horrible and hilarious at the same time. XD Next episode...I think we finally hear Jeanne talk...  *dramatic musical cord plays* o_0 Oh, and I'm dying to see how they'll handle the gang's experience with THE BOOK. XD I have a feeling next episode is going to have a few re-writes... me too. *shudders* I won't be seeing the next one, but the one after that (almost painful to say) I will be watching, if nothing else, then just to be able to flame on the boards about how awful it was. ho hum. Ya know, I REALLY thought 4kids was getting better, but now I realize, that they are not, infact they are getting much worse. What I don't understand, is how they can leave in all of the x-laws guns, and the scene were Hao is bleeding, but they can't allow chuck to have a real gun, instead they just give him bullets but no gun. How lame is that?  And I don't know what in the name of all that is good and just in the world gave for kids permission to screw up Macchi. *still angry about this* |

The excuse for why the X-laws can have a gun and chuck can't.
The X-laws are adults and thereby, "more responsible"
Mari is a young girl, and I guess her doll is young too (XD ). Therefore, her actions would be too easily imitatable.
So remember everyone, NEVER used your possesed dolls to shoot people. If you shoot 'em with a rattle that's cool though XD .
