And to say, my fear of seeing anime has risen again. x_o *hides in her manga* The English dubs were the reason why I normally chose not to see them. Plus the fact I have no cable >> Well, I should try to live through this one I suppose...
But if they continue the way Zeke is.....>> I have no words for that....

Good advice, lovely, I'll be sure to remember that next time I posess on of my dollies just for the heck of it XD. Also, the x-laws in all reality aren't that responsible with their guns.

Ah, yeah, I know about Kanna's legos, Peyote and Blocken are the only other ones with Hao legos I think... Actually, I believe that Ashil is the only one WITHOUT Hao-gos... I'm pretty sure everyone else has them, somewhere... At least everyone who is in the last 5 episodes... Oh, Lovely, did you get my e-mail with the pic? |

Hao-go's, lol. Never heard that one before. I don't think Bill (the football) dude wears any of the Hao-go's, but I think other then him, Ashil is the only other Hao follower who doesn't were hao's trademark thing.

I know I havn't seen the episode yet but from what I've heard it seems that there's alot of unnessesay editing, especially around the guns.
I've seen quite afew american cartoons with the firing of guns in them not to mention a reference to suicide in one of them, these are still being broadcast on cable so I don't see what 4kids are worring about when it's somthing we've all seen before.

Well, the fact that actual kiddy programmes have had stuff like with the infamous Tintin, where suicide is commited in space, kinda makes all this editting fall apart.

i don't wear hao-go's cuz im to special for them.....at least, thats what i say to myself...
i would think he would have looked a little odd with hao-go's thou when he's dressed so propper. it would be like
"do de do im all proper la de HAO-GO'd!"

the thing that's messed up is that, every kid 2 and up, knows what a gun is and what they do, just about every kid 4 and up, (okay, maybe not that young, but your getting my point, right?) has a toy gun (at least if you are a boy) and they usually pretend to shoot just about everything. But when it comes to anime, no guns can exist no way! At least that is 4kids idea. But then they let the x-laws have guns, my personal oppinion is that they just can't make up their minds about what to edit and what not to edit. So they just screw everything up just the same.  |

I dont know about you... but Ive seen movies with guns and killing, and it dosent make me think that it's okay to go on a murdering spree, now does it?

Seriously, it's like they think that if we see a gun being fired, or just a gun in general, then were are gonna think, "yippy!!! I wanna go kill somebody!!" Then we grab all our little phsyco friends and become mass murder's and then we all go to jail and die. Sheesh, not all of us who watch anime, or mindless idiots. 4kids REALLY bugs me........

Well uh... they ARE releasing the uncut sub.... just so you know 0_o ...
(A very slow release, but it's out there regardless...)
EDIT: And oh yeah, certain edits have to do with the FCC, the network, and the advetisors. They have to go through a lot of people.
Which brings me back to my original stand on this series. It should of never been put on a broadcast childrens block in the first place.

true, true, but the funny things is, is that in Japan, they can air Shaman King, with all the blood, guns, and cuss words, for children around the same age, but u.s. (or werever else the 4kids version is at) can't. That's what I find interesting.
