You don't actually "see" the dream, you just see Manta distressed while sleeping and calling out Yoh's name ^^;....

Off topic a bit--
Funny (sort of) story, down here in West Palm Beach (where I am right now visisting my sister), there is a shoe store called "Mephisto" XD. I had a good chuckle at that. I had to explain why to my sister though ^^; . "They're the shoes of the devil XD !"

Faust’s voice scares me officially

Yoh is always better than Pino because Yoh is Yoh so there.

My dad thought I was insane because I kept yelling at the TV mostly being freaked out about Faust’s voice. XD

All in all good eppy for me!!! (I’ll find something better to say about the eppy later).

Ok, when Faust was explaining about his new name for Eliza in the original, Eliza's name appeared at the bottom of the screen, with the E blinking. The dub edits this out, but her name appears at the bottom of the screen for a second XD

I thought this epi was good too (agreeing with s91), faust voice freaked me out too... it just don't match him... sounds like that voice doesn't belong in him..


I think it's weird that pino and the other three were riding in a boat the whole time they fought!

I found this annoying that they showed how weak horo horo because horo horo can't stand the cold while ryu, faust and Yoh can, so i found that annoying

Anyhow, i thought his was a good epi, can't wait to see the epi next week! ^.^



edit: I liked Eliza's voice too! At least it better than the voice of Faust. The part where anna was glaring at yoh was funny too lol

My thoughts...

Fausts new voice actor cannot do crazy very well.
Eliza's was okay.
That looks like the first time the Funbari Onsen team is formed.
Pino should have asked Len about how it works to fight Yoh with rage and anger.
Ziria is cut in civvies.
Even with a weird voice, Faust is great.
I want to be Rio when I grow up.

Oh and can anyone fill in the origanal backstories for the Icemen?

Well, this was a pretty good ep.

"If we ever get separated or you run into trouble, run into the forest." Yeah right. They really screwed up the beginning.

Boo! No Visual of Manta's dream.

Manta is so friggin' cute when he's terrified of Faust!

What got stuck up Pino's ass? Last ep he was telling everyone to keep a low profile and all, and this ep he's all like "I'll kill Yoh!" He must be bipolar or something.

Yay for Mephisto E, erm, I mean Eliza. Her voice was pretty cool. Faust did sound a little less like Michael Jackson in this episode; and I thought the flashback of him reuniting with Eliza was sweet.

Yoh is amazingly calm, all throughout the fight he was waiting and smiling.

Anna getting mad at Yoh was really cute.

And so Pino was happy he was defeated...okay, I can see how he would appreciate what Yoh did for him, but he switches moods WAY to quickly for me.

Hao's comment about Yoh rejoining him makes me excited for future eps!

I was disappointed in this episode. They took the entire episode building up to a fight that wasn't a fight.

In fact, I'm getting really tired of the Godzilla sized spirits...the pattern goes: brag, attack, attack is blocked by Godzilla sized thing, stare in disbelief, brag, attack, attack is blocked by Godzilla sized thing, stare in disbelief...it makes for a terrible fight sequence.

I can understand Pino's turn around...the "kids" were getting annoying...

Speaking of, is Yoh's group the only younger group there? It seems everybody else in that town is pushing 28 or older, and they're the only 14 year olds...

IIRC, Hanagumi, Yoh's group, Lyserg, Millie, Elly, and a couple other shamans are pretty much the only ones who either are or could pass for teenagers/under 21. Pretty much everyone else is an adult. In fact, in one of the episodes coming up (51, 52, 53, something like that, I think... definitely before 54, though), they actually do fight a group who believes that children cannot handle the responsibility of being Shaman King.
