What got stuck up Pino's ass? Last ep he was telling everyone to keep a low profile and all, and this ep he's all like "I'll kill Yoh!" He must be bipolar or something. I know he was all crazy 0_o I think you're right he is bipolar. I honestly don't see anything exciting about cars going really fast around an oval! >< "Oh look! They just passed! Quick, go get us some hot dogs! You have time, the cars will pass again in about 5 minutes!" For real I have to see it on Sundays whenever a race shows here because my brother tapes it... yeah I have other TV but it’s still annoying. One thing though actually it wasn’t NASCAR that interrupted it was the Busch series. (Do I sound like a redneck saying that? 0_o ) XD errm anyway, back on topic I re watched the episode again (This time my mom and brother thought I went insane XD) and Pino’s child voice did sound way too old 0_o. Yoh rocks ^o^ … but Anna still rocks more. I loved Anna getting mad at Yoh about slurping the noodles that was just priceless. Eliza’s voice seems to fit her well to me. |

WOW!! That thing where Faust introduces Mephisto E, and "ELIZA" flashes on screen, was that an editing error??!! Cuz when the words flashed, Faust's movement was like really choppy, and I was laughing at those editors leaving that! It was good. ^-^ I remember that originally, Faust explains where the name Mephisto E comes from, and so originally "Mephisto E" also goes on the screen. 4crap screws up again!!
hehe ^-^ Anna uncharacteristically loses her cool twice in this episode without violence!! xD
btw, if NASCAR preempted Shaman King in some areas, does that mean that they are going to be a week behind the other areas?

More likly they will just run the next episode and act like nothing ever happened.
Stupid sports you have like 200 cable channels. So let us have one half hour on Saturday mornings.
Course I was'nt preempted.

Pino's past! *browses through mangas* They don't mention this in the manga  Aww... I would have wanted to see the real thing... Lets see, personnally, I think the story around the fight and stuff like that... is weak and stupid... (Pino thinks something like: o they are annoying cause they think they are strong because they read a book,) Then he goes on about how you're not a reat warrior if you din't suffer... (something like that) So he decides to fight them. When he is losing... he agrees to make the fight official... I'd have said: Hell NO! Of course there's a whole pride thing.. but hey... if there's only 1 tournament every 500 years.. bite your tongue and run away... at least you'll be beter prepared. Anything else? I liked that Faust and Ryu fight for Yoh  Pino... really seems stupid in this ep. wild mood swings... making no sense... meh... i was disapointed in him. Final thought: Hate Faust's voice...  |

They are not going to repeat the episode. I read the title for the dub eppie, and was like, you know 4kids? The Ice Team DON'T Cometh!
I'm excited to see the episode next week, in which I believe they divide into official teams for the Shaman Fight. Yay for Team the Ren!

Dang it, I missed that scene, because in the original and Angry Pino head popped up on the screen. The sceen was a little like this: Faust: "Mephisto" Stands for Devil... Zria: Devil? Faust: And "E" is for Eliza! *Eliza's name appears on screen with the E Blinking* Pino: I FIGURED THAT OUT!!! |

This was a pretty good episode. I liked the speeches that Ryu and Faust gave during their fights, as well as their immense loyalty to Yoh. As for Faust using Manta like a plushie… I don’t know whether I should find it funny or creepy.
I’m probably the only one who thinks this, but I love Faust’s new voice. I think his newer voice is a major improvement from the old one. I didn’t get to see Episode 15, so I could hear the old Faust when he was calm, but I did see Episode 16 and I really didn’t care for his voice. To me his old voice just didn’t fit at all, but I do think his new voice could work out quite nicely.
I do have a couple of questions about this episode. First off, what is the deal with the three Nordic Shamans? Throughout the episode Pino talks about hardship and whatnot, but they don’t really explain what happened.
Also, Faust’s new voice is it the same actor just doing a different take on the character or is it a different actor entirely. Either way is fine with me as long as they continue to use Faust’s new voice.

Oh God, I loved that. I saw the name kind of flash on for a second and almost burst out laughing. Sloppy, sloppy editing. Maybe it'll give the little kids a hint about things being edited...........Or they probably just sat there with their Lucky Charms all over the place, yelling, "OMG YOH BEET SOMEONE UP! HE'Z SO KEWL!!!!!11" I'm mostly just worked up about the next episode, though. Cause it's one that actually played on my old dinosaur computer and I loved it, but that's for another day! ;D |

I missed that gana have to watch that ep again.Yeh Pino mood changes did get annoying esp in the ep before he didn't seem mad just annoying.I did wonder why this kid was watching why they dragged a boat along.Thought cause he was to lazy to pull it and just watched them for some reason.

I noticed something really weird. You know that rule they have of not saying any gods' names in their shows <except i guess the exception of the Yugioh gods> i think they made a tiny mistake, though it is so unnoticiable. They said the Norse God Thor.....or did they mean to say Thor from the DC comics, but thats COPYRIGHTED. I can see it now a 4 year old boy will go up to his mother and ask, "Mommy who is Thor??" And she'll say, "Who told you of Thor!?"  The Boy, "The TV" Mother "4kids lied there shouldnt be any god names...augh!!" I just reread this, i guess i was bored and just wanted to type something so little it wont change anything <sigh> |

This is a bit OT but has anyone here ever seen the show 'Tutinstine' (I don't know if I spelled the name right -_-  But anyway lots of Egyptian gods are mentioned and it’s aimed at kids so I really don’t see why 4-kids is so bent on cutting out stuff like that. |

Geeez @_@.... I'm only about 10 minutes into the dub episode and a LOT has been changed concerning Pino's and EVERYONE'S personality @_@ . I'm having to write so many notes that it's rediculous....
The most annoying thing is that because the last episode was fairly accurate, Pino's sudden personality shift doesn't even make sense in the DUB.
Fans of the show who missed this episode because of Nascar, be glad.
*goes back to watching the dub ;_; *
Edit: Geez... they made Pino such an ass that I'm having a hard time watching this T_T ....
