I never thought about it like that! You guys make me think too much! Hanging out at SKU is not only fun, it's good for our brains!
In response to what Gandalf just said **They should have either lightened up on the X-Laws/Hao arc before the character episodes, or, preferably, kept building momentum by including more of that story arc in the character eps, while still focusing on the underappreciated characters of Shaman King *cough* Faust and Manta *cough* The manga does go by more quickly than the anime, and it lasted longer, so they are able to include more character development, and not seem like it is totally seperate from the rest of the story. Unlike the anime, which can become detached from the rest of the show leading up to that point, and following after they are done showcasing the characters.**

*The Hao/X-Laws thing rears it's head in a pretty big way in episode 54-58 or 59. You have the whole "Gate of Babylon" thing, and then the angels thing. And, in the process, you find out the real reason why Lyserg is with them... man, I love the end of that part.. Poor Miine...*

Ah, this is a good episode. Ryuuro plays, Ren smiles cutely, and Ryu's hair get's all wiggly!
Oh, and a quote that I really liked in this episode:
"Because of you, are sister hasn't been able to get a boyfriend in 28 years!"
I'm not sure if those are the exact words, though. (I have the HK subtitles)

I liked this eppy Ren is cool enough said he rocks (I'm still a Lyserg fan but now I'm also becoming a Ren fan...)
Well a few weeks ago a friend did tell me "you know you like Ren... come to the dark side... we have cookies"
Anyway it's seemed ok to me but from the other clips I saw the dialog in some scenes has been changed (but from what I can tell it fit ok.)
sorry I had to cut this one short I have a cat about to give birth ^^;.

Well, there was this scene with Rio talking about how Yoh's team should be called the 'Yoh What's Ups' (or however you want to spell it) because he liked it and thought it was catchy. However, Rio didn't say he registered it and Yoh only said that he hadn't registered anything.
Also, there was this great quote at the end, but I only got the gist of it. Usually I'm better at remembering things... Anyway, someone (Rio?) was talking about Len taking up 'the lost art of sleeping in public' and Yoh exclaimed that no one would ever beat him at that. ;D (If someone has the exact quote, I'd be grateful if you could clarify for me. Please & Thank you.)

While I know they changed it for the dub I do like how Ren talks about how a man who destroys his own family is not a man at all.
Didn't like them calling him Len Tao.
To many people focus on Haos pant's. What about his boots?
Poor Tamao.

THEY BLEED!! *cough* Sorry... ^_^; Let's start with the voices shall we? Arghness. D= Sqeaky british voices everywhere! x_X I was about to go crazy. >< On a good note, I liked how Jun's voice sounded in this episode though. 0_o Hmm...name changes... It seems Tsukigumi (...right?) was changed to..."Brawling Buckaroos"...>< (sp?) WTF? O_O?? Oh, and their attack names were changed, but I didn't write them down because they said it too quickly. >> Heh, their opposing team had an attack (in the dub) called "Northern Lights Assault" xD A shout out to original fans perhaps? XDD;; Team names...have been changed...obviously. xD Len's team is now "Team Len" (bah, no difference to me) and while Rio did say it wasn't official, Funbari Onsen is now "Yoh Wassups" (or what's up, or whatever the hell it is...). Come one...this is 4kids. You KNOW they're going to keep that name. Anna didn't make Tamao look for a keychain shop. They were just there. Anna was looking at the keychains, since Anna's a bit...picky with them. So when she put it back, Tamao freaked out because she had done so, thinking it wasn't good enough for Anna...or something. Anna originally wanted Ponchi and Conchi to look for Yoh, not follow Jun. Hence the reason they were injured when they found Yoh. Anna beat the crap out of them for not listening to her at first. ^_^ Originally...I don't think Ren knew the two kids were his cousins. 0_o? Yay. Destroy=Kill. =] The conversation where the two kids said Gei Yin hasn't had a boyfriend, was changed to that she couldn't accomplish her dream of being a ballerina. 0_o Kay... Apparently, only the person who can open the Sword of Thunder is fit to lead the family now. 0_o (Ren's the next King Arthur!) That...wasn't in the original...it seemed somewhat corny to me. It was Ren's words that made Gei Yin cry, not the fact he was able to open the sword. >< Once again, 4kids adds BAD MUSIC! >< Seriously, pretty pretty Ryuuro that fit in well was replaced with more Matrix-sounding music. >< It annoysssss. It took the feeling away from that scene... Heh, the preview for next episode made me laugh. xD Especially the last rule. XDDD "How dare you speak to my fiance." *music stops* xD Whee~ |

And would Anna let Yoh's team decide their names? I think editing things that are animated in multiple episodes are left in due to 4kids' lazyness.
I actually liked the music when Jun was saying her family history, it really actually "worked" for me...
