Wow, this was one of the best episodes of the dub I ahve seen yet... (he writes during the first commercial break...
)
Nichrom's voice is average... nothing that creepy I guess...
But I do love how the dub deals with Chrom's death, I mean, they didnt even say "destroyed" they said, "seriously injured, and he didn't recover if you know what I mean". I mean, I think this is pretty aimable compared to some of the other stuff that has happened.
"It was your fault, you're a horrible person" <-- corny line of the episode in my opinion.......
I hate to admit it, but, this episode really does show a bunch of "Ren"x"Horo" stuff, and I guess I think it is really sweet of Horo (not another Ren) carrying Ren all that way....
Horo's little developement is also nice, and it was good to see his "sheild" oversoul... thingy... again.
Also, seeing Joco ride Mic was sorta weird, can humans "ride" ghosts? Or, is Mic something else.....like Horo's spirit...
I like Ren's explination of why the song didn't effect him.... The whole "dark" side of Ren really plays a neat role in this episode, more so than even when he was originally "converting".
Oh wow (the third commercial
) Joco is officially 40% cooler than I originally thought, and I really liked him even from his first episode....
I sort of liked his Oracle bell joke.....
I sort of wish he ended up "not" having darkness in his heart, but, him almost shredding an audience member was a pretty good moment.....
ROTFL completely on Joco's response to the whole Darkness thing..... giant... Mic... dancing.....
Wow, so... this is a Joco episode.... *tears of joy* wow, he even shoved a moral in there, and made Nichrom laugh, Joco rules! Aww... Joco inviting girl to dinner......... Ryu....being...Ryu............good lord, -_- poor Manta....
Well, I guess there was quite a bit of Joco in that episode, more than any others I think, although I think many characters got a good deal of screen-time/development. Silva, Nichrom, Ren and Horo.....
This is one of the best flowing episodes I have seen. The plot was smooth, and although it didn't ad much plot to the storyline, it was a great episode "filler" although, it was much more than a mear filler episode... more like a "development" episode.
Although I did not see the original, I am going to say overall the dub handled it well, because, if it did not, I really don't have any complaints (yet) on how the dub felt. Even the music seemed bearable today.
Oh, cool, next episode... Yoh vs. Manta... now thats some cool stuff.....not like Manta has a chance...
*Question- Is the "team" which Team Len faced supposed to be some sort of spoof of journey to the west? With the Monkey (with staff), and the pig... and the... uhm,...... Kappa? (not that I remember a Kappa from the weird cartoon version of Journey I saw)... whatever that thing was....*
