This is the last of the character specific episodes really. While TECHNICALLY it should belong to Chocolove, it's more of "Team the Ren" episode. Upon a second viewing of the original.... this episode is actually, really, REALLY cool *laughs*.
There was actually some things I missed the first time around.
(As a TOTALLY unrelated sidenote, the "events of the week" thing in the Patch RP will work slightly differently for this episodes events. I'm splitting it into two parts. So just keep that in the back or your minds.)
This episode mentions something that came up in the manga, but wasn't really mentioned in the anime up till now. That is MILD spoiler ***That Ren killed Crom***
Oh yeah, a slight explanation of the subject title of this thread. There is a song that is used in this episode. A creepy song. An EVIL song.
Why?
Well, during the episode itself, the song doesn't really have that much bass. If you get the soundtrack and play the song on regular computer speakers, the sound doesn't have much bass. It just doesn't SOUND like a song that even has bass.
Take the song, put it on a cd, play it at a good volume on a car radio. The Bass will begin shaking your car! Heck, your whole body will start shaking with the unexpected force.
I swear! It freaked me out the first time I heard it on the car's cd player. So now, I call it the "song of the devil" *laughs*. It's an odd track...

The creepy Nichrom makes his apperance! Nichrom is cool, but he's creepy as heck. Fun fact: he's apparently about two years younger than the main cast? That's what I heard anyways (does anyone still have that big link of character b-days?)
Anyhoo, the point being, Nichrome doesn't actually LOOK all that young compaired to Yoh and the others.
Nichrom also shows that he shirks his Patch duties fairly frequently.
OH! And this episode also reveals that the Patch Priests/Officials know how the teams will be matched up a bit before the actual teams do.
The Patch Bathhouse makes an apperance. And Ren's spike comes down. Pretty cute.

Nyorai= creepy song gir, her team= Dai Re Dohl
Chocolove is cute when he's trying to get attention or just break the seriousness in the episode. I especially liked His playing around in the bathouse.
FUDOUH shows up! At least, I think that's his name. It totally threw me off when I saw him because I didn't realise he showed up in this episode. Mikihisa and Hao make an aperance as well. Things are starting to move along again...
Chocolove's lie to Yoh about why the room is messed up was funny. "I heard you got hit by a meteor 0_0 ."
The look on Yoh's face when Horohoro tells him that he's scared of him was so sad!
The characters mention the fact that Chocoloves "puns" often don't even rhyme. But... that particular joke made by Choco was an adorable moment ^^.
At the end of the episode Nichrom gives Ren this little smirk. It was a sort of, "O.k, that's right... I hate you Ren." sort of smirk.
At the very, VERY end Ryu throws Manta off a chair to make room for Nyourai. Ryu's so mean sometimes ^^;. It was a funny moment though.***
I can't see this episode making it through the dub re-writes very well....
