All I can say is they ruined the scene where Lyserg's running by having Jeanne talk in the backround. Infact, Jeanne talks too much in the dub! She only had about two/three lines in the original!

Oh! Keyblade's post reminded me, when Lyserg..i think its when he jumps off the building(XD!) and starts running, in the dub he tells Morphine to come with him, but i thought in the original he was telling her to leave?

He can talk all he wants! ^^ Oh! They pronounced one of the X-Laws names sebin, and it sounds like seven almost. But i believe from the dvd i have his name ispronounced Kebin, almost like Kevin, i thought his name was Kevin at first actually. Just thought i'd note that=P |

As with the whole "R" and "L" thing in japanese, "V" sounds are also not really pronounced (Remember the episode when Chocolove tried to explain how to pronounce the last part of his name?), in which case, "B" sounds are used. Therefore: Kevin -----> Kebin |

I laughed out loud at TakinawaTonfa's 4Kids marketing ploy. Just the word 'Funnel Gun' is funny enough. And I thought the guy's name was Seven too. I was like "Seven. That's a cool name." (I like to name people wierd/unique things.)
They did kill alot of silent moments in this ep. I haven't seen the original, but while I was watching the dub, I was like- 'that should be silent, no one's supposed to be talking here...'
When I was watching this episode, especially the X-Law's/Marco's ~"Arch-Spirit" and all that he said after that~ rant, I was like 'woah! This is religious!' or, maybe anti-religious given who's saying it and what they're planning on doing. Like, they said Bibley words. I was feeling uncomfortable while it was going on.
Oh, speaking of which (sorta), did AnimeFanatic really get booted? Do booted people ever get allowed to come back on? I feel bad for him... I've been wanting to mention this for a while....

But...
Lovely, the Hao thing you mentioned. O.o He did do it for a reason (sort of...) he asked Fudo to become his ally, and Fudo refused, so he killed him. Just like with Lyserg's parents.
Basically...he was being a bully...but not completely, he was just doing the "don't join me and I'll kill you" thing. O.o

I actually draw/have a character named "Seven" in one of the stories that I'll probably never actually write *laughs*. He doesn't much like his name though. heh heh... Who's religion/belief system is actually FOR humans to be normal and not ally with spirits, it was REALLY obvious to pretty much anyone that he would never Aly with Hao. So yeah, basically I'm agreeing with you, Hao was being a bully. He just used the "join me" thing as an excuse. He was probably just pissy because of the Lilly5 incident (more original characters *laughs*. Hao hates the anime-only characters XD .) |

I liked this eppie. I love the X-Law's lines for some reason...
-Lyserg's gun...I thought it was a joke, sort of a slap-in-the-face from Jeanne. Then I thought, no wait... That looks like 4Kids work. Anyone got a screenshot of the original?

4Kids is starting to scare me. They're keeping in the blood in Shaman King, but changing plot points, such as the reason as to why Hao killed Fudo.
Dub version:
Hao:"It appears that you have taken something from me."
Fudo: "I don't know what you're talking about! (smirks)
((Me: Me neither, Fudo. Me neither.))
Hao: (Something about how he's supposed to be the one destroying spirits.0_o Proceeds to attacking phase)

Wow, dub Hao really is a jerk! Killing people because they're sealing spirits, when it's really just making your job easier by weeding out the weak shaman. .__.
