Law of Hairstyles
Regardless of how ridiculous or how physically impossible it is in realty, any hairstyle or color can be done and made cool in anime (Yugi's/Yami's huge spiky hair, Ren's point, Ryu's pompadour, etc).
Law of Fashion Accessories
A fairly popular character will usually have some trademark item that they wear either all the time or in certain occasions. However, it can be justified if the accessory holds some significance to the character/series (Luffy's strawhat, Zoro's bandana, Yoh's headphones, etc).
Law of Girls in Fighting or Other Highly "Male-Targeted" Anime
If the heros and villians are guys, sometimes the only thing stronger than them and also the only thing they will fear are angry girls, most usually the angry main girl character/s (Anna, Nami, Izumi, Kagome, and so on).

The "Look out!" Law In any shonen anime, there must, I repeat must be a situation in which someone takes a blow for their friend, usually the one taking the blow is an anti-hero, and it wasn't expected that he would help. Dialogue might go like this: Character A Why? Anti-hero Shut up and leave! Character A But- Anti-hero Just go!!!
The Adreniline Law Usually after the occurance in the previous law, the Main Character (Hereby refered to as "_Maru") will not, in fact, run. They will stay and fight the bad guy, usually after a monologue about friendship and the immortal "I'll never forgive you!!!" line. The bad-guy will under-estimate him, then he'll get his but kicked. Law of the hospital After the above battle, _Maru will have been hurt. Badly. He will collapse, and wake up in a hospital, where his friends, and the Main Girl Character (Hereby refered to as "Sakura"), will be sad. Often times, the anti-hero will also be there, and he will say something mean. That's all I've got for now!

Law of Hair Colors If it is a visible color, then it can be a hair color.
Law of Injuries If a character sustains major injury, it will stay long enough either to be made significant or just until the end of the episode/group of episodes.
If the injury is minor, it should disappear by the end of the next page/ commercial break. ^^;

Law of arousal for males
When said male's are "turned on" (for lack of a better term but who gives a squirrels arse) bloodflow rather than auto-directing itself southwards and making certain *ahem* anatomical parts more prominent, instead travels up northwards and shoots out through the nose. Also may happen to the female of the species but is quite rare.
This phenomanon still holds many 'Real-world' scientists in bafflement. ;D

The Law of Eyes
One can often tell if someone is alright (as in hasn't been posessed or something like that) just by looking into said character's eyes. If they are usually small and are now large *Shaman King*, usually large and now small or nonexistant *Shaman King*, glowing *Shaman King, Digimon*, or have no shine to them (as in are blank empty pits) *Shaman King, Digimon, Inuyasha, others*, or a combination of the above, you can assume that the character is not themselves.
However, other characters in said anime will NOT notice the change in the eyes, and thus might be completely kept in the dark until otherwise enlightened, while the audience will have known for several pages/minutes at least. (Occasionally, you'll find characters that don't even notice changes in other features of the different character, such as a lengthened nose *Konjiki no Gash Bell* or a strange (sometimes of the opposite gender) voice.)
This trick also works for the surrounding area of the eyes - if there's too much eyeshadow or other eye makeup *Yu-Gi-Oh (sorry if that's not the original name...)*, it's probably a bad thing.

Law of Magic
If a character is a magic-user, he/she will rarely, if ever, be physically strong.
And they die too much. >.>

Yugi's friends and enemies don't even seem to notice at first that he's gotten taller when he's in Pharoah mode.

The Annoying Recent Law of Pokemon Battles
If your name is Ash, then you automatically win every battle that you compete in. Even though your pokemon have taken the worst end of every blow, your enemy's pokemon are lv 1,000 and yours are only at lv 50; you'll somehow manage to beat that pokemon with only one hit. Also with that your ego will grow to equally annoying proportions.
*sigh* whatever happened to the good old days when he used to lose every now and then?

However, this law is not annoying when applied to Yugioh somehow... Hmmm... good point. I believe that it's in Yugi's playing style: the opponent thinks that s/he is winning when BLAM! Yugi busts out with a trap card, slaps them silly with a magic card and then blows their life points sky high with a magic card. Thus leading me to believe that Yugi's wins aren't annoying because he puts unpredictable strategies behind them, not like Ash's too often of a miracle wins. Besides... it doesn't seem like Yugi's head gets bigger with every win like Ash's.

Law of Opponent Duelist Sob Stories (probably dub-only): Duke: "Pegasus showed me all around Neverland and you had to destroy him!"
Marik: "I wasn't allowed to go above ground as a child and ride motorcycles."
Nightmare Penguin: "Penguins take care of their children, my parents left me alone, I became an accountant to combine my love of penguins and numbers."
Rex and Weevil: "Because of you, a dog peed on me in an alley!"
Alistair and Raphael: "Instead of looking for my family, I decided to join an evil cult and destroy the world!"
Ziegfried: "I didn't apply for a patent for my duel monsters simulation box and Kaibacorp got there first."
Leon: "As a kid, my duel monsters card were my only friends!"
"Your hair triggered my epileptic fits, Yugi!" "I was knocked over by Kaiba's jacket." "I lost an eye to your spiked hair!" etc.

"Your hair triggered my epileptic fits, Yugi!" & XD The Law of Death and HumorIn a humorous scene, a character can pull a weapon from nowhere, stab/shoot/smash/eat a character they are mad at, yet the other character will not die. In serious scenes, damage that is a small fraction of that done in a humor scene will most likely kill someone.

Just recently came up with this one:
The Law of Arguments
In almost every anime that I've watched a small scuffle takes place in the hero's group of friends, causing one or more of them (namely the rival first) to leave the group. However, after at the most a good few episodes, the team winds up coming back together to kick the bad guy's behind. Or at least to cheer as the hero kicks the bad guy's behind.
e.g.: Digimon, One Piece, Sailor Moon, Tokyo Mew Mew, etc.
