I was kinda skimming at Waldens and I didn't want to get approached by a staff member telling me to buy the book or leave. ^^; They do that? Darn them... I do that all the time when I go to Barnes and Noble. |

I looked up Zoro's attacks. It actually is "Oni Giri", but that means "Demon Slash". Japanese is tricky, one word may sound the same phonetically, but have 5 entirely different meanings.  Oh, that's interesting to know. ^^ If his attack really meant riceball I was thinking 4Kids would change it to something dumb like "Chocolate...CHIP!" or "COOKIE!" because of the riceball-cookie edits from episode 2. xD |

I know this is off-topic but~
You think calling rice balls cookies is bad? Pokemon's called onigiri so many names I can't remember. @_@ I only remember....that they called them doughnuts (and they called that red spicy thing in the middle jelly...o_0 I forgot what that red thing was called...) and sandwiches, (when they clearly look nothing like sandwiches! >< )..I think they called them onions once...o_0 no...nevermind..I doubt that...
They did call them riceballs...ONCE. XD Man, I could swear that even the little kids wonder how the same food item could be so many things. XD

I don't think kids really care what they're eating anyway, why not keep it what it is? Oh well, not a big deal really.
I was just thinking, with everthing that they changed, why did 4kids decide to keep Zoro's attacks in Japanese? That's actually one change that would make sense, so people would know what the attacks are. Luffy's attacks are in English. I can't remember if they've shown any of Usopp's yet.

No one knows how 4kids' minds work..
They've kept a few Japanese words in Shaman King, (even though they pronounce them wrong...) like furyoku...there's another one...I know it! it escapes me at the moment...or maybe there isn't one...^^;;
By the way...I was lurking around the One Piece Uncensored message board...and the truth, I've always wanted to see One Piece (right when I first heard of it), but the dub just didn't catch me...so I guessed I didn't care for it. But Lovely's comments here and the ones from others on OPU have tempted me...
So anyways~ after lurking around I found out about some certain fansubs...I do have BitTorrent by the way...so what I'm saying...should I download these certain fansubs...? >3
I won't specifically mention the name because I'm afraid of Lovely's legal issues dealing gun. XD

Yes, by all means, yes. At least watch through to episode 40 or so, if you're not hooked by then, then you can give up. But most people are hooked way before then.

While it was nice to see some of those old episodes and to even see the amazing Hammer gun once again, it will be nice to see a new episode next week!!

The thought just came to me.One Piece has been popular in Japan since its debut.Anyone ever wonder why no other company picked it up a long time ago like ADV,Geneon,Central Park Media,Viz,or FUNimation,instead of 4Kids just picking it up back in June?
