Oh man, it's like a weekly ritual for koi and I to go out to the mall to play DDR/ItG. There's this HUGE mall by my house with a ton of arcades. I think there's a total of 4 DDR machines and 2 ItG ones. We always play at Red's, they have both machines right next to each other and it's set to four songs for a dollar.
I'm a fairly decent player. I can play up to a 9-foot difficulty on Heavy mode.. I'm currently trying to pass "Sakura" on DDR, which is a 10-foot song that I have no hope of doing.. But it's fun anyway XD
I like ItG because it has fun music (not as good as DDR though..), and I like the songs where you have to hit three or all four arrows at once. I'm getting okay at using my hands ^^;

I honestly don't think I play enough; I only get around to it every other week and even then, not all the time. X.x But I've had it since Christmas and can do up to an 8 difficulty on Heavy and can do a total of two songs on Challenge. As for Sakura, when I was at Connecticon this summer, I saw these two guys doing that one on Heavy...I think one AA'd it.

Aww...the first time I played, I failed miserably. ^^ Well, second song. It was in public, which might make it a bit worse, as failing at DDR is something I'd rather do in the privacy of my own home, thank ye very much. XDDD

One more thing about the Pump it Up machine that makes it different from DDR. The buttons are spaced further out from each other. SO, if you have short legs like me, you've got to learn to make some impressive jumps *laughs*. Umm do you look something like this except you're on a Pump it Up pad? I mean with the jumping, not with the falling down. *shot*

ZOMG, I played DDR at the arcade today. *sparkle* It's been too long~...
What I hate is that at the arcade I go to, you have to stomp on the buttons, otherwise it says you missed it. X.x

Heh, this summer, I was at the arcade in another state, and I played DDR with some guy. We got to play Extra Stage, which was Maxx Unlimited on Heavy, arrows going downwards. XDDD We failed badly.

Ooh I just recently got into DDR! I have DDR Extreme. Erm...I can do Beginners and some Standards... I kinda suck at it...
Btw, which DDR game has the song "Butterfly"? Cuz I saw a Mankin AMV on DeviantArt, and they said the music in it was from that song, and, well, I fell in love!

Arcade/Japan version of Extreme has Butterfly.
That song does rock, agreed.
