Well....I was but then I got kind of sidetracked with Xeno2 and then replaying Xeno1 and then I bought ICO and well.....ICO RULES!!!
I am still in Thomas Ch.1 I was haveing a VERY hard time finding the boy Thomas at Mt. Hei-Tou. I finished that one and I think I'm between parts in his first chapter. I will play it again soon, but right now I'm too addicted to ICO.

Rhapsodia: Suikoden IV GaidenJust in case you guys are interested. A Gaiden (side story) to Suikoden IV. My reaction? Psh. 1- I don't like strategy RPGs 2- I didn't like Sui4 . Yep, this one's gonna be a pass for me.

Oh, they look like straight EXACT ports that would be retarded for me to purchase. ...and yet, if they are released in the U.S.... I'll probably buy them and the PSP , just to show my support *laughs*. Speaking of Suikoden V. I would LIKE to be excited but after the huge dispointment that was IV for me, I'm taking a "wait and see" attitude with it. I do like the character designs and the in-game graphics though. It looks like they finally decided to reintroduce COLOR into the series at least.

Damn you Konami, Damn you to everlasting heck... I hate myself for it... but... I'm actually getting excited about Suikoden V. Gaaaaaah.... *Reposts what she posted in her journal, 'cause she doesn't feel like typing it all again .* -------------------------------- I have a love/hate relationship with Konami. Heh. Anyhoo, I just got back from watching a freakishly long Suikoden V preview. It was 10 minutes long! (The video can be found at Gamespot by the way.) Anyhoo... regardless of how much I disliked (dare I say "hated") Suikoden IV, I can't help but... well... get excited about Suikoden V *weeps*. It was a cool preview man... *sigh* Ah well, Behold my list of wishes for Suikoden V: * TALKING main character. NO MORE MUTES! * An actual Story * Interesting characters who develop throughout the course of the game. * Travel that doesn't make me want to kill myself. MULTIPLE TIMES * A moment that makes me cry (because of the story, not the gameplay.) And most importantly of all... * Bunnies with axes What? I always thought those bunny monsters were cool *laughs*. It should be noted that EVERY single thing mentioned in my above list was NOT included in Suikoden IV *grumbles*. Anyhoo, judging by the freakishly long preview video, it looks like the main character doesn't talk *cries*. However, at least his facial expressions change. Unlike the majority of people Sui fans on the net, I really don't care if any characters from the other games show up again. As long as the new characters... ARE INTERESTING. (In case you all haven't noticed at this point, Suikoden IV has made me bitter ^^;.) Well... I would like it if Viki made a return of course, mostly 'cause she's convenient. (She is a teleporter who has been in every game.) Oh yeah, judging by the preview, it looks like 6 person parties are making a return. That, and it looks like spell effects have been returned to thier previous flashy state (the spell effects were almost non-existant in IV.) So... that's pretty nifty. Oh yes, also the environments and character models are simply GORGEOUS. The music in the preview was pretty nice too, but music in previews tend to always be good. The real test is how music is used in the game itself. Well, it's already been officialy announced that Suikoden V WILL be brought to the states, so no worries there. I'm excited... and I REALLY don't want to be. C'mon Konami! Don't let me down!

You realize that it takes place in the Kingdom of Falena, right? Hopefully, it'll be another prequel... say, the 15 years that people originally guessed for IV... Meaning, we might finally get the story behind Georg Prime! Plus, a bunch of other characters could appear!

Yep, "Queendom of Felna" Heh, heh, I just like the idea of a Queendom ^^. And the Queendom has actually been mentioned a few times before, unlike the island nations. (EDIT: I was wrong here, the island nations were indeed mentioned in other Suikoden games. A few profiles mostly.) ....Dammit! I don't want to get excited and then get dispointed again Dess! *shakes Dessa* *ahem* That said, I really don't understand the fan communities love of Georg Prime. He had like two lines of dialouge in Sui 2 0_o . Of course, I never sent the detective to investigate him, so maybe his reports were interesting or something... (EDIT: Yeah, actually Prime did have an interesting detective report. That, and Prime even shows up in some Sui1 artwork. He was one of the generals for Scarlet Moon, he just wasn't in the actual game outside some of the official artwork ^_~ .) EDIT: Ooh, just found out something else concerning the Sui1 &2 PSP port. Apparently it's BOTH games are going to be on one disk. Personally, I'm really happy about this. While I do love both games, I actually don't think Suikoden 1 stands very well by itself. Now, with both games together, it should work out great ^^. Oh, and because of the wider screen of the PSP, apparently Konami is putting a LITTLE work into accomidating that. Ah, Sui5 news: They hired an entirely new artist for the character designs in this game. (EDIT: I was wrong again ^^;. The character designer is the same artists they used for 2 and 3. woot!) Rhapsodia news: With your Sui4 save, you can eventually meet up with ANGRYGLARE. (yeah, now I'm REALLY not interested in this game .) (lots of edits made on 04-14-06 ^_~ .)

Suikoden V frikin ROCKS! THAT IS ALL.
I'm only a 3 or so hours in and it's just so intresting and amusing. And best of all, it FEELS like a Suikoden.
I'll probably need to make a new thread. But I'm too busy playing Suikoden V right now. (that, and some of my old posts about Sui4 in this thread are kind of amusing. Like the one where I proclaim the series is dead. Heh.)
Thank you Konami. Thank you.
