Actually, he DOES have a good reason for wearing it.

ahhh, not really spoiler-ish at all. i want to see his face thou. i hate it when people wear masks, cuz then you want to see what they look like.

It's like Kakashi-sensei from Naruto. Maybe there'll be an episode dedicated to taking off Mikihisa's face. (Athough I do know that the series woulldn't, since it's finished in Japan.)
But I thought Miki's voice sounded okay when they met Tamao, and Ryu grabbed onto his leg. It sounded rather laid back, I think, when he said "Rio? Let go of my leg". Otherwise, yes, his voice sucks.

Would it take an entire episode for him to remove his mask? That sounds pretty boring to me.  Unless the episode were stilll filled with gags like billy. |

Well, the whole Naruto thing with Kakashi's mask, was worth one eppy, but it was made completely upon the special manga done by it. They did the first part, but filled the rest with fillers, including the Moya Brothers. |

I do have some conflicts with Marco's VA.
I love Eric Stuart but his tone is already being used for Seto Kaiba from yugioh and Brock from pokemon. While he is one of the best VA's I've ever heard (anyone who can have a gritty voice like Kaiba and be able to squeal like James from Team Rocket is amazing in my book), I am beginning to get confused.
The same with opacho having the same VA as Mokuba from yugioh as well. Is that Veronica Taylor?

Here are my oppinions on the voice actors.
Yoh-too deep, it sorta works, but not really. I'm not convinced he's only 13 in the dub.
Anna-too high pitched and girly. It doesn't fit the way she is.
Manta-I actually have no problems with Manta's new voice. 0.o
Ren-gags, he is NOT british, he CHINESE!
Horohoro-His I don't really mind, I just prefer the jap. one.
Ryu-okay....I don't care for it but I don't hate it.
The only voice I really CAN NOT STAND is Opacho's. It sounds like it's (I don't know the gender so Opacho is an "it") got a stuffy nose or something. I like it's high pitched cute voice much better.

yes... i shall forever have a peeve against Rens voice. id like to meet a REAL chinese person with a british accent. what really gets me is that lyserg IS british... and doesnt have a trace of an accent at all...

Lenny's voice isnt like Mako's its more british like Lyserg's should have been curse you 4kids entertainment curse you!!!!!!

I can't picture Lyserg with a british accent either.
I think that Anna's voice is the best that 4kids had to work with. None of the other VA's that 4kids uses would come close to Anna's tone!

Well... I guess I'll finally do this....
Yoh: I think the voice sounds a bit too old, but it's not bad really. The main problem concerning this voice is in the directing. Especially in the begining of the series. Yoh just sounded too... excited. Lately he's been sounding a good deal more laid back though, and it comes off better.
Anna: I like the voice, I don't like the direction. They often have Anna sound too angry. Anna's strength lies in her abilty to inflict fear without putting much effort into it ^_~.
Morty: Has a GREAT actor. Ussually pulls off his lines well and sounds somewhat natural about it. Unfortunately, this voice in general was a bit of a miscast. Manta just doesn't sound all that cute anymore.
Amidamaru: No complaints.
Rio: Baaaaaaad accent.... and he sounded a bit too high pitched at first. Doesn't bother much anymore though...
Len: REEEEAAAALY BAD accent. thankfully it was toned down a bit though (i think). ... his voice... I wish it was lower, but it does seem to have gone down a bit from the begining. I think I understand WHY they chose for Len to speak the way he does, it's just odd. ( Oh, the reason I think he talks that way in the dub is because he IS a bit of a snob sometimes ^^; .)
His freak out lines are delivered fairly well.
Trey: No complaints
Faust: ... well it ain't Crispen Freeman ^_~ . *laughs*
Actually, I kind of like it. I wish he had delivered his "I'm a COMPLETE and ANGRY" loony lines a bit better though (but that's more due to direction than anything else.)
Zeke: Hmmm... what to say about this.
Well, considering the voice they have for Yoh, I think they voice they chose for Zeke is appropriate (it's good for them to sound similar.) He also has a tendancy to deliver his lines in a ... well, nice, smooth and almost sexy fashion.
If Yoh sounded younger in the dub, I would like Zeke to sound younger as well. But as it stands, it's not bad.
Tamao: LOVE
Pilika: Pretty close to Love!
Mikihisa: HATE
Silva: No complaints
Bason: Love!
Chloe: I like it. I swear to god, the very rare moments she made noises in the original she sounded EXACTLY THE SAME as she does in the dub. The only thing the dub did was add insances of her making noise.
Kororo: Sounds the same for the most part. I just miss "Kupuru KU!"
Lilly 5- I like their voices. At first I wanted to shoot Elly for her valley girl speak, but it actually DOES fit her character. Which brings me to why I like the voices of the Lilly 5. They all fit their characters.
Lyserg: LOVE. YES, it's a different performance than his Japanese counter part, but... IT WORKS. Very cute and filled with angst. I can't wait till the uncut dub gets to him and we can hear him call out angrily "ZEEEEEEEKKKE!!!!"
(Lyserg in the originally yelled out "HAAAAOOOO!" a lot. I'm kind of evil and it amuses me o.k? )
Marco: *blush* ^///^ .... *cough* moving on...
Ren's dad: It fits
Ryu's gang: meh.
Tokagero: I like it actually. Speaks similarly to Rio (which is actually the point.) but his accent isn't THAT strong so it works.
Mosuke: I like it for the most part but... why the heck can neither of the dubs pronounce it right? It's not hard! The "u" is basically silent! *twitch*
Silva's spirits: suitably annoying. as they are meant to be ^_~ . Ditto for Ponchi and Konchi ^_~ .
Yohmei and Kino: No complaints really....
Jun: GREAT voice. Accent... unnecessary ^_~ !
