Heh, if you've seen the original episode you know what the title of this thread and what the first words in this thread mean ^_~ .

Anyhoo... Lovely is feeling rather tired and a bit under the weather this week so I haven't really gotten much done on epi comparison 41 yet ^^; . I'm hoping to do it tomorrow but... Anyhoo, this is why I haven't re-watched episode 42 yet. So, my post isn't going to be as in depth as they ussually are for the starter post of the episode threads. I'd like to appoligise for that. Sorry everyone!

ANYHOO, Episode 42.

I really love this episode. Mostly because of ONE line Mikihisa says. It's also a line that made me a Mikihisa fan ^_^ . Of course, given that the dub has changed his personality almost COMPLETELY. Well.. I'm not really expecting much. In fact... even if they do everything else right, dub-Mikihisa really bothers me on a personal level so... I'm kind of ... bitter >_> ...

Anyhoo, things to look out for.
SPOILERS:

*Yoh's mom, Keiko, makes her one and only anime apperance. Kind of a shame really... I would of liked to have found out more about her.

* Backstory! Backstory! Yoh and Hao's birth. This is a rather important plot point sooo....

*Ugly babies! ... yeah.... ^^; ....

That's all I can remember really... It's been a while since I've seen the episode ^^; .

****Well, like Lovely mentioned, there's a flashback of Hao and Yoh as babies. I really don't know how the dub is going to re-write that scene (I say 're-write' because our UK members said the scene was kept). It is fairly important, since it explains how Yoh and Hao are twins in the first place....I think...o_o

Also, Chocolove makes an explanation of how Yoh and Hao are the same person.

And yes, this is Keiko's only anime appearance. T_T Shame, like Lovely, I would've liked to see more of her. She doesn't appear that much in the manga either...but at least it's a lot more than in the anime. XD I actually thought she might be dead in the anime...XD! Nah, I'm kidding.

Another thing, in this episode Amidamaru becomes a The Spirit of the Sword (or something close to that). He was originally just a human ghost, and in this episode, he 'evolves' into a spirit. This episode is also the appearance of Yoh's big oversoul. Or as I like to call it, Yoh's "big ass sword". XD (Hey, it is big!)

Also, it's the first 'real' fight with the X-Laws. And we get to see everyone else's big oversoul. They all remind me of Voltron. XD!

I think there's a scene where Opacho uses her oversoul...not the Mama one. Her spirit separates from her body or something...and she spies on the X-Laws. Of course, Jeanne tells them to attack her...causing her cry. And leading Hao to ask her if she was alright. ^___^ Aw.

I think there's also mention of the "Door of Babylon" which is episodes 55-56. I think...I don't remember if it was this episode.****

That's all I can remember right now. ^_^ Spoiler-wise that is. There is a funny scene other than Miki's. Where Chocolove says he's going to leave, because he doesn't want to be with "Hao's brother". Leading to a scene where we see Choco walking away and Horo and Ryu bidding him goodbye like it was nothing. XD

Yoh never seems to care for anything...when we see some rotation scene around his head after Miki's flashback. He just sighs in an amusing way and smiles. XD

Erm...that's all I got for now. ^_^;

OH OH!! I almost forgot!! THE BLUE THING!!! ><!! What is that?! o_0?! Doesn't look like a paint error to me...>____>;;;

Eh...blue thing? Maybe it's a secret birthmark that no one but the most intimate fangirls know anything about!!! XD or...maybe I shouldn't be talkin, since I'm not a fangirl.

Ah yes!! The first appearance of the Long Sword!! A beautiful weapon of Yoh, cuz we all didn't see that coming (ahem! spoiler theme!!). The sword doesn't look sharp, but it still looks pretty nice (and hollow, if you look closely).

now then there's the part of Hao as a little baby that was brought up. They might edit out that brief moment where Hao is just lying there naked waiting to be killed. I dunno...is infant nudity a problem? is infanticide a problem? Not in the U.K., so hopefully not here.

This was also what I call the episode where the test of the loyalty of Yoh's friends happens. I really liked that moment where they find out that Yoh is Hao's twin, then they all faithfully stay by Yoh's side. (except Chocolove kinda hesitated for a moment, but stayed anyway) ^-^ Great moment. *

Yeah Hao and Yoh,who you THINK would be cute when they are babies,are really ugly.Also I'm gonna feel kinda weird watching this eppy tommorow,for reason unknown already.I just am,okay.Oh and i hope they keep your Miki line,Lovely!

There's something else I've always wondered...who took care of Hao when he was a baby? The SoF? o_0 I mean...who fed him, clothed him, raised him? I know he's all high and mighty but I doubt he was able to do those things on his own...

Well, as far as I remember, none of the scene gets cut they are however wearing underwear in the dub. I think I'm starting to realise why Lovley-sama dislikes Mikihisa's dub voice.

I think the blue thing is just there because when my brother was borned, he have that blue thing on his body too. But it goes away when he grew older


I think it's natural, but i'm not sure. That is only one proof i got!^.^

Anyhow, the episode was great. I thought it was funny when Chocolove expect Horo Horo and Ryu to tell him that he shouldn't leave. It was nice that they all stayed by Yoh's side too. (I didn't get a good look at Kororo's Giant Oversoul though.. sad) Anyways, it was a great episode.. only a few minor cuts.
Oh yeah, i have one question......


Is Opacho shorter than Manta?!!

Okay I feel like I can talk about this eppy now.

The 'WHAT?! Twins?!' scene was super funny! The look on their faces and Ren's hair grow like 3 times this eppy!
You know when he gets mad or overactted about something his hair grows.It kinda remids me of when Ryu's hair changes.

Miki's line was changed(if you already didn't know) and I like the original one better.

The 'saying goodbye' to Chocolove scene was really funny and i loved it.

Eliza as a super oversoul is so pretty and cool.The charcter design for her was great and the bat wings was were cool too.And poor Manta feel off !XD that was funny when he was spining in the air.

Ophacho's(sp?) oversoul in this eppy remids me of astroprojection.You know when your body looks like it's sleeping but your sprirt goes somewhere else,I belive.I don't know the true defintion but I think it the gust of it.

Yeah, I guess Opacho's oversoul is like astroprojection...well actually, I think it's just an ability she has. Her REAL oversoul is the Mama one, where she turns into a sheep. o_0 Why? I don't know...

The eppy seemed ok but I so badly wanted to hear the mask joke. I called a friend of mine right after I didn't really think she liked shaman king besides Ren and Hao XD.

And as for the football thing... Shaman king would have moped the floor with the turtles so that ticked me off a bit.
