whoo...i read all 4 pages of what people said so i would'nt be repeating anything. i missed this ep on saturday but taped it. i finally watched it very early this morning (3am-ish)
i liked it. the fight between yoh's group and the x-laws were neat.
i don't have a problem with miki's voice but the way lovely and resurie talk about him, it sounds like the original is way better (duh!)
the voice that got on my nerves was lyserg's. im not sure why, i think it was the scratchy-ness of it all. i was was wondering, if morphine is a little fairy, and the x-laws have these angelic gundams, does that mean morphine will become something like that....or replaced?
lol i loved it where you got to see miki and faust perched upon eliza's.....front.....
i saw the x-laws guns and i think i said something like "ohh they kept the guns" but i guess since they don't shoot bullets they're fine.
i can't really remember much of this episode. i do like how opacho looked where she was on the ground crying ^^; he voice sounded a little weird when she was spying on the x-laws.

This is also where he gets that "cricket gun". XD Also, in another later episode, when he gets her back, she combines (?) herself with the other X-Laws' angels. Making her...like...a super angel? o_0 Well, Jeanne says something like "It's the most beautiful angel I've seen" or something...yeah...*** |

Well, if you chop off that afro of her's, then yes, I suppose she is shorter than Manta. But Opacho is actually short because of her age. Manta's short because he's a freak. XD! Ahahaha--! *is shot by Lovely* ...whoawhoawhoa- Opacho's a SHE?! XD Due to me having only seen the dub, I was always led to believe Opacho was a HE. XD Sorry, I just HAD to point that out. XD |

In the anime it's ambiguous. You are SUPPOSED to wonder if it's a he/she. In the manga, it's ambiguous as well, but APPARENTLY it's revealed at some point that Opachao is a she.
In Japanese Opachao doesn't even use feminine or masculine pronouns (such as "boku" or "atashi").
In Japanese it's easier to make a character ambiguous because it really isn't necessary to use gender specific pronouns (such as "he", "she".)
It's a lot harder in english.
In writing my comparison this week. I tried to do it, but I just sort of gave up. So, I'm refering to Opachao as "he/she" . Yes, I know she's a girl, but I wanted to keep up with the anime's intent and leave it ambiguous.
Uh, comparison is almost done by the way. I'm just kind of busy in the house making dinner and stuff ^^;. Posting on here isn't helping...
EDIT: Oh yeah! I forgot to mention. So far the dub dialoug has been keeping Opachao's gender ambiguous as well. Listen to it! So far they haven't refered to her as EITHER "he" or "she". (Though her/his voice does sound rather boyish.)

Hey is it just me or is young SoF look like something that cameout of a sonic game...... I missed the beginning of this episode by i got to see that tidbit SoF came, this just makes me wonder, how old is the SoF was it really Hao's faithful partner 500 years ago?  |

Yes it was. SPOILER ***The SoF is part of the Great Spirits, Hao stole it from them. While yes, it looks very young, I think that's because it hasn't consumed any souls yet in that life. Hao feeds the SoF souls in order for it to grow.****

Old old OLD. You find out more about it later ^_~. It can just change it's form depending on the situation. O.k, here's the Episode 42 comparison. I had a really hard time with the grammar this time around for some reason 0_o . And a few parts don't flow very well. However, I'm a lot happier with this comparison than with last weeks (comp41). This has been bugging me for awhile but I notice you always spell Chocolove's dub name Joko but on my CC thing it's spelled Joco. Just thought I mention that and the avert your eyes and Faust doing the peace/victory sign was funny.
