I don't think it's too creepy there....it looks more disturbing in the manga.  I'd post a picture...but...yeah, I'm too lazy right now... I'll check the CC to see if it's Mash...  ; But alas, it's only 9:30 here...T____T I hate waiting. >_>; Oh, and Spirit of the Ren, about your spoiler question, yes, Shamash was the one to do that. |

To answer that question, no. I recently watched it here in the UK, but I'm kinda don't remember.
The things I remember were that they kept Anna saying about prices but she didn't say anything about Yen (wasn't that expected). Also, the blood was edited and the shamans that Lyserg fights keep referring to pharohs (sp?). I can't remember anymore though, the video that had that episode was taped over.

Manga Shamash looks much... more normal to me. It looks like it fits in, and isn't a slight reject like anime Shamash, or Duncan, who I am guessing Shamash scared off  .... I guess this is a spoilers question, but, how did Jeanne come across Shamash anyway? Did she have "him" before joining "The Laws"? |

my notes on today's ep. marco sounded a little like james in the begining of the ep there was one sceen where faust and eliza were in the background looking at eachother ^^ i thought it was funny where ren walked away and basson was agreeing with everything he was saying and he was all ^^; "yes master len....yes master len" horo X ren moment! horo: "what did he do to you, len?" GAHH! that water spirit was freaky! LMAO @ the niles guy's voice XD he sounded like escargoon! was it me or did he pronounce tutankamen wrong? AH HA HA HA! that escargoon voice guy looked like a cross between ryu and ashil! hehehe i thought naughty thoughts when marco said to lyserg "we'll talk later" ;D when lyserg was holding his mouth, did he get sick or something? ha ha! they did keep jeane bleeding in both sceens. i thought it was kinda funny when ren beat chocolove to the joke ^^ i guess jeane's spirit's name is mosh....mosh pit whoo! hehe sorry... when lyserg left with marco and everyone was sad, faust and eliza were in the background being lovey again ;D all i can say is poor lyserg... the ending seemed strong to me where jeane was talking to lyserg and he could hear yoh calling to him  |

This was officially, the most unitensionally funny episode I have seen to date. First, some overall thoughts.
I really liked how this episode flowed, the entire plot, I found it amazing... There was so much emotion.... wow.
The second Marco-Lyserg edit was VERY implied, and fine. As for the first one,
I laughed so hard (not really but..) it wasnt funny. All of a sudden Lyserg just gets beaned by The Iron Maiden. It almost looked like Jeanne somehow flew at Lyserg.
I found all of the voice acting, especially Lysergs MUCH better than the last episode. I found Lyserg's voice a bit, struggling, or, forced last time, this time, it was very natural.
All of the blood cuts were ok, I think they just downplaid it, there was one bloog stream on Jeans head at first, and then the Iron Maiden still cried blood, although I think it was dark enough to avoid parents nagging 4kids. I guess 4kids will just say:
"Oh, Uhm, that black stuff on Zeke and Jeanne? Uhm, that is... (looks at staff who look away whistling) Uhm, it is ... black....uhm, liquid, hey, how would you people like some stuff pikachus? We have millions. ^_^;;;"
My favourite line in the episode.
Ren: Say, when she flies do you think she has to fly cargo?
Joco: Hey!
Ren" Too slow Joco.
For some reason, I LOVED the wierd Nile's voice, you know the one I mean, the main one, with the wings. It was so obscure it wasn't funny. I think it also fit with the theme, and sort implied the original idea. I think this, because I find he sounded like a made-for-TV priest, or some sort of crazy religious... guy. I also liked the guy's oversoul wing things, very Egyptian and cool
The last voice Ill comment on now is Mash's. I thought it didnt fit at all with it's "cute" image, which I thought was also, a good thing.
A note about Mash, I like how they actually almost said he was a Babalonian(sp?) god. I also am pretty sure it is still Mash, it is just pronounced Mosh.
Overall, an entertaining episode no matter how I slice it.
Edit: Yah, I noticed the James thing aswell Ashil. I found it a tad wierd....

I think the thorns in the Iron Maiden were edited to be smaller..but I'm not sure.
Pino's voice isn't too bad, I can get used to it but he sounds a little like Otogi (From Yuugiou).
I don't know much about Norse Mythology, but Pino said something like, "For the Love of Thor!" That just stook out.

Hmm... I'm actually very pleased with this episode.

They kept most of the dialogue the same, with the exception of the "Immortal Class" Shaman.
I might have to look back, but I could swear I saw the blood coming out of the Iron Maiden's eyes... Of course, they changed the color to look more like tears, but the same general idea is kept.
From what I can remember, a majority of the dialogue is kept. Like the scene with Hao, Ren, Manta and Horo in the beginning. They only changed one line of Hao's, where he says to Ren: "I want you."
And I can see why they would want to change that... this is supposed to be a kids show after all.
In the beginning where Anna is trying to buy the keychain, Yoh originally disagreed with her, saying it was worth more than she was willing to pay. Not that big a change...
Umm I can't think of anything else... except I'm glad they did such a good job with this episode, considering this is one of my favorites.

Actually, I'm guessing they are pronouncing it in the Japanese style (and possibly the Babylonian style). The way "A" is pronounced in Japanese, most of the time, is like "Ar", which, if said in an American accent and quickly enough, sounds like the American pronounciation of "O", like "Gosh", or "Slosh" etc. So, basically, it's being pronounced "Marsh", but is pronounced in an American accent, and quickly, so it sounds like "Mosh". |

Sorry but it was reallly creepy.And also the leader of the Niles sounded alot like Escagoon from Kirby so everytime he talked I kept thinking it was him.But besides that I think it was a good dub eppy but Lovely's comparsion shall be intersting.Also they did keep the blood on Jeanee's face but then when they showed it again it was gone,so yeah.Also Jeanee looks so pretty when they showed the flashback of her getting her Iron Maiden.That dress..I want that dress she was wearing.It was poofy! ~^_^~

Omg, Ashil, I was wondering where i had heard such a horrible voice before... HE DOES SOUND LIKE ESCARGOON!!! haha... Seriouselly his voice was really annoying.. it's really fit for a snail XD * Hmm not shure if i should put this like this, but compared to the manga (Unless it was edited out) this episode has a much more sadistic sense, a torture sceene for the "Niles" and a much scarier feeling for the X-laws, specially Jeanne. In it, I believe Jeanne actually throws herself at Lyserg to punish him... and (still in the sadistic sense) she is in a real Iron Maiden... (with spikes... not vines)
Just curious if some of these things happen in the real anime version.
* Anyway, about this episode... OMG!! BLOOD!!! a single little line of blood on Jeanne... I can still hardly believe it... Ok, is it just me, or is it really annoying the way they say "Ly-sserg" I'm not shure about the exact pronounciation but it can't be that? Can it  ? Cute Faust and Elysa ^^ Hmmm here Lyserg blames Morphine... when it's his fault...  hate the anime Lyserg!!! In the book, he's scared about what's going to happen to him (if he doesn't obey...) and it IS Morphine's fault...  Ok, now Hao... hmmm No I won't call him that.. cause I like the "real Hao" ... So Zeke.. (  ) so mean with little Manta... but Manta... so Kawai standing up for Ren !! Anyway... finally more bad jokes.. more of Ren saying... bad jokes... Heh Oh! and there was when Horo Horo wanted to protect Chocolove ;D Final thoughts... T-T I want more blood !!! |

So 4kids came up with a way to avoid it by keeping his name. In the original, it's pronouned...like... "Lee-serg"...Yeah, I'm using spanish refereneces... |

I'm not the only one that noticed that damn voice! I only heard the guy talk for five seconds and the first thing I thought of was that snail!
This is one of a lot of episodes I've never seen yet, so I wouldn't know what to say. But, I kind of liked Jeanne's and the ice guy's voice (I know it's really Pino, but I forgot if they kept it or didn't mention it). It was sort of funny seeing him go all over town trying to calm down everyone...Including his own teammates. ^^;;;
And the X-Laws saying they don't mean any harm and don't want to fight anyone....I sat there kind of laughing at that one.
