I work too, but I am also married. My wife is very critical about the stuff I buy. Don't get me wrong, we both love SK, but I don't think she would be too happy about me spending money on it. At least not while our budget is so tight.  |

So the Dvd's are good then? The dialog that was edited in the dub has been brought back accuratley i mean as in for example: when Anna arrives at the hospital to see Yoh in episode 5 she introduces herself as Yoh's Fiancee not Yoh's Wife.

why not order them necromancer?? thats what i did..i live in nikakaka...ahem...i mean nicaragua...*looks around nervously* anyhoo...you can still simply order them, lovely has the link to CD universe on the front page...where the DVDs are $13.95...i believe... now about the news...i dont really mind the if theyre dubtitles...at least theyll be accurate.....plus..i already know the entire script from watching SK in spanish like 20 times...  hey lovely, you are gonna put a link up when CD universe has volumes 3 and 4 right? that is...if they do get them...  ... |

I bought both of them at earlier this week along vol 4 of the manga so its Shaman King week for me. Its really interesting for someone who only watched the Fox Box version and once I started watching the uncut version of it I didn't even remember half the stuff that was going on.

you know, i have a theory on why scripts arent exactly the same....it has to with language....for example...a character may something long in japanese but in english the translation is a short sentence, so obviously they have to change it a bit, the same the other way around... ive noticed this in miyazaki hayao's movies...though some things are just changed strangly..like in Mononoke Hime...changing 'Deer God' to 'Forest Spirit' despite the fact characters were shouting out 'god' all over the place. of course its just a theory |

I got them Friday. Amazingly, they were hard to find. I got Volume 1 at FYE, and Volume 2 at Media Play.
Well for someone who has never seen the Japanese version, and only the Fox Box dub, I am loving it so much. I am into Shaman King more than ever now, and I can't wait for the next volumes to come out in January.

The DVD's I ordered FINALLY made it to my house! AHAHAHAHAAHA!!!! *twitch* I- I'm so happy ;_; *tears of JOY* . Haven't actually watched 'em yet though ^_^; . EDIT: Oh yeah, AnimeOnDvd has reviews up for the first two volumes. It scored a bit low due to episode count, a lack of credits, and the odd way the subtitles are done. Besides that, the review is fairly favorable. I can't wait till he gets to epi 15, where the series, in my opinion, really picks up ^_^ . |
