i loved the fact that jocko "spied" on people and got the info on them. i was suprised when jocko called lenny by name. i said "wait how does HE know that?" then soon after yoh asked the question for me ^^;

Well, everyone else mentioned the hamburger thing soo...
It wasn't as bad as a reference as other times (where it tends to come out of nowhere). In the original, Yoh really DID take that moment to talk inapropriately about food ^^; .
Also, mr burgler dude didn't have a knife originally, he had a gun (I got some good screenshots of it too.)
In my town, if a guy was threatening another guy with just his fists, the police wouldn't hesitate to shoot XD . (O.k, I'm exagerating.)
EDIT: Oh yeah, I take notes during episodes too. I write them on the actual script. Makes writing the comparisons a LOT easier (only been doing this for the past 6 episodes or so ^^; .).

I believe they changed his hand slightly (haven't started on the comparison yet so I haven't had a chance to double check.)

Now in spanish it's confusing....Chocolove's voice is hard to understand because he uses funny spanish words not known to resurie. >_O He did say "mmm crepe" though. XD I don't exactly know how the Japanese puns went. ^^;;; Lovely probably does though. But she'll probably put them in the comparison anyway...^^ |

They're actually easier to understand in english in my opinion, what didn't you understand? Hmmm, well, some of them worked, some of them didn't. The last two visual gags didn't go with the visuals very well. (for example, when Chocolove was dressed as the little match girl.) Yep yep, because of Chocolove I figure I'm gonna have to write down the original puns. Damn you Chocolove.... |

I doubt I spelled the last word right, and I have no idea what 'guachinango' is. XD Now, back on topic, I found something interesting. I was lurking around the internet when I found some Funbari no Uta scans. (I don't remember where....I should have faved it...) Anyhoo~ Hana mentioned Chocolove being in-----I won't mention! He mentioned his FULL name too. Apparently, Chocolove's last name is "McDonnel" XD *grabs a BigMac----throws it in the trash* HAHA! -ahem- Is it supposed to be a pun about him being a clown? And the fact the Ronald McDonald guy is a clown? Wait...didn't they fire him? Oh, in case you didn't notice, I don't like McDonalds, I prefer BK. Back on topic, you see the dub in spanish right resurie?
Do you see the dub or the original? Do they make different cuts for the spanish version or do you get the same butchered garbage the U.S. gets?
I watched the dub again yesterday and I will today as well. I always seem to miss things until I watch it over again.
