Friggin brand new DVD's and they start skipping!!!
I got to episode 6 and it started to crap out on me. I went to Best Buy today and got a disc cleaner. Finished watching through ep.6 Still a lot of stuff going on in a short amount of time. They probably could have stretched this series out a few more episodes. They sure did a lot of cramming!! ;D

Cool! I loved the endiong to SIGN by the way. I finally got to watch all of the DVD's since it was my PS2 that was unable to play them. I need a real DVD player.
I loved episode 28 Unison. The part with Mia and Tsukasa was just so touching. I forgot to post that in the tears thread.

the ending was sad becausethe ending was sad because of what skieth did to sora ;__; but i loved how you got to see the back of real world sora's head! i so want that screencap.

Sora was by far my favorite character. He was so cool. And so very lame!! ;D I loved the banjo music that played during his scenes. I have two discs of soundtrack and they couldn't fit Sora's theme on there!!! Bunch of lousy cheap........ (grumble)
I always laughed when he had a scene.
Sora: I'll leave this one to you sir Knight!! Good-bye!!
Silver Knight: SOORAAA!!

Sora's banjo tune is on the soundtrack CD called .hack//EXTRA SOUNDTRACK (it's one of the "bridges".) A lot of the shorter incidental tracks are on there. The cd also has a cool version of fake wings (subaru's theme- make decision ver.) and a the "extra" version of The World theme.
The interesting thing about the last part of //SIGN and Sora is ***How his age is revealed. I had already figured it out BEFORE this point, but it was cool how it came up in the anime.***
Another cool thing concerning the games and that character *** How Sora talks when you "meet" him (it's probably not the "real" him, but a copy***
He speaks in L33t! I thought that was a funny touch ^^; .

Oh yeah, I had such a hard time deciphering his emails! I had to translate them for my wife!
Yeah, I believe Crim unmaksed the child behind Sora by calling his bluff when the two faced off at Hidden Forbidden Holy Ground. I believe it was the episode before Return!

Chibi-sama- Heh... I liked An's danglie on her cellphone in episode 28... I'm gonna make an avatar out of it one of these days.

Chibi-sama (again)- Lovely answered your complaint partially, but, technically, Sora doesn't have his own theme. Kajiura-san was sad that she couldn't write him his own music, but they didn't ask it of her (she says so in the EXTRA soundtrack, which came with LE volume 3). Ahh, yes, and the wonderful "revenge on Ginkan for being a loser" scene...
Lovely (again)- I don't think that the first spoilers is really spoilers... I mean, the fact that you find it out isn't spoilers, although what it is would be.
Yes, it's the episode before Return... that would be episode 25, Catasrophe.

I know this is off topic, but bro....do you even know Dessa at all to ask her who her favorite Mankin character is?
Sorry if I'm rude, I'm just messing with ya. I'm sure it's Lyserg though. Maybe Morphine a close second. You could probably do a cool pic of the two of them together. I always thought it was cute when they showed Morphine piloting the dowsing crystal. Her little goggles and aviator scarf.

Anyway, does anyone actually know what Bear does or did for a living during the series. Mimiru still had one guess left but she never used it to my knowledge and it was never really brought to light directly.

Nope! You're both wrong, Bear's profession IS revealed in the series (in a sort of indirect way). Well... actually... his FORMER profession is revealed.
SPOILER!!!
***He's a writer. In fact, he's a well known author who wrote Crim's favorite book. Though Crim doesn't find this out 'till MUCH later (and Crim gets sort of shy about it ^.^ .) I THINK Bears current profession is revealed in the series as well but.. I kind of forgot what it is ^^; . I think he's the head of a school (hence the reason he can sponser RL Tsukasa.) Oh yeah, writers tend to do a lot of research in their profession so that is why Bear was so good at it ^_^ .
Bear's real name is revealed in the series too, but... I forgot what it is ^^;. There was a REALLY good .hack website I saw once that revealed all these things too but for the life of me I can't find it.
