I don't know. I think the cave thing kind of has the same meaning.
Anna: Training makes one think of caves. This is common.
In other words, Anna figured she would follow the cliche for training in caves. (and making it sound logical in her own way ^^; .)
I don't think she meant "requirement" literally in the dub. I think she was just using odd logic and passing it off as fact ^^; .

The scene with Yoh & Anna at the end, i think Anna was going to say something else before Yoh said "i know what your going to say, i'm glad your here to" then Anna says thanks. The reason i think she was going to say something else is because why would she say "Yoh i'm glad your here" after they had already read the book, of course he was going to be there, well somewhere around those parts.

Looking at the script for episode 44 (the name of the sword isn't mentioned in 40... and I couldn't find it earlier than in 44 0_o) it seems the name is "Futsu no Mitama no Tsurugi" . And no, I don't know the translation for that, sorry ^^; . resurie looked into it. >_> I'm not sure on this, so this is simply a supposition (sp?). First...I think it's Futsu u. Because Futsu with only one 'u' means 'French'. o_0 "Futsuu" means sort of like...interruption or suspencion, to stop something (that's not making any sense so far. >_>) It can also mean normal, ordinary, usually... "Mitama" means spirit of a deceased person. (Ok...getting somewhere...) "Tsurugi" means sword...(yay, that makes sense) 'no' means 'of' or 's, I'll use 'of', it tends to make more sense... So "Futsu no Mitama no Tsurugi" would mean something like... "Sword of the Suspended Spirit"?? o_0 No, that's not right...*tries to think of another arrangement* "Sword of Deceased Spirit"?? O_O Kyaa~ @_@ I can't translate to save my life...>_>;;; Well, I tried... Lovely (or maybe Dessa), maybe you can figure something out from this...My japanese is self-taught so I don't know jack-sh**. >____>;; Stupid Nica. that only gives Japanese class to college students....T____T

I think the best translation is probably episode 42's title: Spirit of Sword

Except Chocoloves chicken joke, it didn't even work, and they could have easily kept the original, because it is based on the english language. I've been meaning to address this. I don't agree. "Sauce" and "Course" kind of Rhyme when said with a Japanese accent, but it doesn't ryhme at all in english.

Not bad, a good episode really. It was probably done well as a sort of apology for the past Hanagumi episode and as an early apology for the upcoming Hanagumi episode.
LOL!! Great Comparison Lovely. Those Shikigami nazi's are pretty lethal. ;D

I think Chocoloves joke would of worked much better with a slight addition.
If he'd of said "I used to be a regular Chicken, but now Im seasoned"
That would work a lot better becuase you'd have a proper food reference of him seasoning a chicken but also have the underlying joke about becoming an expert at being scared/running away.
